Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

I will not pretend to know anything about competitive eating, but I can appreciate the problem of "flavour boredom". Even when I eat "normal" sized meals, sometimes it just gets boring, even though I might still be hungry. Still, a great video Adam, as always, thank you.

I saw a guy failing it and it was almost just as big, to be fair he didn't have the good camerawork and the food looked a lot uglier, it's clear they put in the effort here. But also I think professionals should get bigger challenges as to not ruin them for normal folk. Like I doubt I can beat Beard's time even if I was starving for 7 days, he finishes some challenges in 12 minutes even tho you get an hour. Tho they should be out front with the rules.

Hey why not try giving jollibee another chance? Cuz when you said that the chicken was dry i was shocked because here in the philippines or in some other countries it is very juicy and moist, also the burger steak w/ rice? The color was not supposed to be that way when i first saw your reaction about it and its supposed to be soaked in gravy (i mean that's what i do) anyway i love your videos man and i hope you make more im just sharing my thoughts about the jollibee thing cuz im a filipino and its kind of disappointing how they cooked it there, where here in the phillippines its much more moist. Btw i agree about the hotdog thing that you said? I never liked it as a kid myself lol.

Way too much pepperoni for my taste, it was basically just pepperoni, cheese and a tomato base, not enough variety of flavour, especially for eating such a quantity.

To have the "Great Beard" fail with so much food left of the 30 minutes challenge, then you have to say that 30 minutes is NOT long enough to complete the challenge!!!

Agreed. An hour would be more realistic for most people to make it a challenge worth trying. If Bear failed, who would be brave enough, or mad enough, to try? Kinda defeats the whole purpose and fun if it becomes unachievable.

@@click8708 Yep. It's the water in the tomato sauce that is slow to cool. The bread acts like an insulating blanket to hold that heat in. I think he might fair better if he begins by cutting the edges off and peeling the top of the calzone off to help the tomato sauce cool faster.

It's hard to say without knowing the exact weight, but for sure 30mins is harsh as most challenges are an hour. THAT SAID, you have to question Beard's tactics here. There were better ways to come at this one. I think he can beat it if he eats the food in a different order and stats mentally strong- he was defeated at the 15min mark. Needs someone pumping him up, demanding he finish, like a coach, as opposed to his g/f just making jokes. Then again who cares, it's just YT content

I kinda get the feeling the separating parts strategy may have worked against you here. You were faced with endless pepperoni instead of having the crust, the chips and the rings to help break up the monotony. Also that just was A LOT lol

Some of these restaurants I believe are devious . Intentionally adding more than is necessary. Their intent is to make sure no one wins...they should be avoided, there are more than enough restaurants to challenge. My Opinion. Beard is still a winner.

expected you to destroy the meal and then at around 18:30 minutes i shouted out "NO NEVER" As i slowly started to realise that it was getting very debatable if you had the time and the will to finish it all and slowly i came to the realisation that it was All over, you weren't going to do it, the challenge was winning and I then shed a tear for myself and for you knowing that any person with a Beard like that will not be seen crying, I can see why it was too much for you especially with those Dirty fries on the side, but you have to go back and beat this one, strategy will definitely help with the pepperoni and I will be googling Calzone after i finish my comment as I have never heard of it, it looks like a pizza that ate itself, much love for showing a loss as well as all of the wins, thanks for your entertainment love to you and mrs Beard and Catch you on the next one 👍

He did a great job. Thirty minutes was kind of unreal for this challenge. I noticed that the insides were too hot and this is a common issue with food eating challenges. They should cook it to the challenger's specifications.
