Big shoutout to Marie for being such a lovely host. Her way of being so incredibly outspoken is super duper admirable and makes me genuinely believe that this event worked so well, because she genuinely seems to know how to communicate, which is always lovely to see ❤ Yet again another lovely con-vlog. Really appreciate the way you edit these recently too. They have a lot more structure to them and your personality comes through way more imo, if that makes sense? Also: kudos to your hair for only turning a lil frizzy, even though you've mentioned how you were melting away. Dude, if that was me, my hair would literally throw a party and then some, so... Lucky you!!! haha
Amazing video! I discovered you while volunteering at this event and was so impressed by your table. I moved to LA recently and the hardest part is definitely finding openings to meet other artists and just hang out. I think Marie's event was a big success on that point! Great hearing others had a super positive experience from this whole thing considering it's the very first one. My only real gripe is that HEAT! It got so toasty in there, we really were sweating the entire time XD I was the guy walking around with a camera getting shots of everybody's table. I ended up slapping that footage into a short sizzle reel on my channel and you make a few appearances! I'd love to put a video together as long as I can continue to volunteer for LAAA! So happy I discovered ya and I hope to see you in LA again.
You know what, I'll say it. I'm impressed. For a small, indie event, it actually exceeded my expectations. I thought it would be pretty quiet and super chill, like not as many people. But there was quite a lot it seems. Marie did an awesome job as well! And more importantly, really glad things went well with your merch. I love the friendly vibe from everyone too. Let's go indie artists!! :)
I'm glad the show was successful both for you and for Marie as well! Those Spidey charms are SO cute, I love the size and it's so clever having the cord be the webbing! I honestly don't see phone charms as much anymore compared to keychains but always want more phone charms so I think it was a good choice to go for.
I only knew about this from your announcement a few days before the event! I was in the area and was able to grab a Munji shirt and Vol 1 of Bounty Light. You rock
I think that it is nice of her to put together a community event to help out local artists. I hope that eventually, it can become something where anybody can come out from everywhere and attend. And everyone that does attend when you are accepted to attend. You should probably start posting about the event yourself just to bring out more people. It takes a community to do community things.
~Stuff Unwatched~ LOL Super fun looking event! It's nice to see these smaller more financially available shows, for both artists and attendees, popping up.
