As a student that will be getting his degree in the next 2-3 years I love your videos my dad recommended the wing formations to me and this video really helped with insight on what I’m looking for
It's my absolute favorite formation. Throws defenses for a loop and either gives you an extra blocker at the point of attack - or takes a defender away from the back side!
This is a devistating offense at youth level. Especially if you have an intelligent athletic QB. I ran this with my youth league team. We had very few plays, but were very effective. Throw in the Cross Buck play too. At youth league level, defenses just don't adjust well.
The Cross Buck play which is basically a counter. For example: our left slot would go in motion to the right (behind the FB), the right guard pulled as lead blocker, QB faked the hand-off to the FB on a dive (into A gap right side) then handed the ball off to the right slot following his Right Guard lead blocker into the B gap on the left side. Of course this only works if you regularly put your slots in motion. We would switch between midline and outside veer. This sounds confusing writing it, but a diagram is much easier to see.
@@Flexbone101 A pdf or PowerPoint would be the best. I've seen a couple if/then sheets but I'm always trying to add. I'm not that advanced in the offense so I'm still learning.
