We decided to do a flexi rod set on blown out hair so that we could get more length out of the look; as well as, cut down on the drying time.
We did a pre-poo, shampoo, conditioned, applied a couple of heat protectants, and followed with the Nairobi Wrapp-It Shine Foaming Lotion for the flexi rod set. The drying time was only 35 minutes. We also used the Felicia Leatherwood Brush to detangle, which you can purchase here, www.brushwiththebest.com
There are no rules to doing a flexi rod set, but I find it is easier to control the ends of the hair, by using end papers that you would use for traditional roller sets. You also want to start building your flexi rod set from the perimeter and work your way to the interior.
