So what's the deal with the Bosch Flexiclick SDS rotary hammer attachment? Well, it's pretty expensive so I tried it out without the rest of the tool, the Bosch Chameleon GSR18V-535FC. Does she hit? Let's find out!

You legend! I'm surprised you got it that quickly. Definitely buy a 1/4" extension (they're maybe $5) so you can try it with a high RPM drill. The Bosch is 1,900RPM, so you might only be getting 0.5J and half the BPM. Running it at 1,900RPM could go 4x faster (I'm guessing max 3x, though)

Yeah mate! It worked better than I expected, but then on doing the timings it seemed a bit slow. The good news is I have a better hex adaptor and can do some 2000rpm tests. Pretty cool little thing!

Nah that hammer head used to be drilled a small diameter holes But when we combine it with other strong drill with highspeed by extension that so cool

I bought a dedicated Dewalt SDS Rotary Hamer drill,those SDS Adapter are not really effective.

Would like to see the full thing. I guess that would make quite a difference sinds the dill it is supposed to be on, makes twice as much rpm as the SDS drill 1900 vs 950?

The bits are just normal Makita SDS drill bits, but the half-drill thing is an adaptor for this changeable installation tool that Bosch makes: www.boschtools.com/us/en/boschtools-ocs/cordless-drill-drivers-gsr18v-535fcb15-202150-p/

Oh that's just if you ever wanted to use your hammer for a driver, for whatever reason😅 some DIY hammers are marketed as a do-all tool that can be used for driving. Also the Panasonic hammer comes with one and has torque settings for that purpose, but I can't personally say I'd find it useful for work. I use it sometimes for testing purposes like drilling with spade bits but IRL I would never use it.

I think you totally abused that BOSCH GFA18-H SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer Attachment. It works better on a BOSCH GSR18V-535FCB15 18V EC Brushless Connected-Ready Flexiclick 5-in-1 Drill/Driver System. Thanks for sharing the demo, nonetheless.
