Contour cut in flexi is usually used to diecut stickers. This contour cutting line tells the vinyl cutter where to cut around your graphic design sticker made in illustrator or flexisign pro 8 or 10 infact in all versions of flexi sign.
Contour cut flexisign has been made easy with the same tools used in previous versions. Flexisign pro 8 settings will be the same as in flexi 10. Illustrator you will have to learn how to add layers. It is a method that is harder than it sounds. I find illustrator more difficult and i suggest as a beginner looking for flexisign video tutorial is a lot easier to organise than illustrator. For serious sticker makers and sticker graphic designers, flexisign is a great gateway into the sign industry.
