Brian--to get margins when that option is not available on the rasterize menu, simply create a transparent rectangle around your vector object, then select it and your vector object, then rasterize them both, you will get your bitmap margins then.
Actually in earlier version of FlexiSIGN, 7 or earlier, they did indeed not work well, but from version 8.6 and above they were well. While I agree that PhotoShop has many great features for raster processing, I use these plugins in Flexi most of the time with success.
After changing the item to a bitmap, and making the alterations with eyecandy, How do you convert it back to be able to contour cut the newly created object ???
I have forgotten how to remove the background from bitmaps in Flexi. I tried the Make Transparent tool and selected all the parts of the white background but when I hit Enter nothing happens.
Hi Mark. I am running flexi 10 and downloaded the trial version of eye candy 7 a few days ago. I can apply all the effects to the inside of selected objects, but can't get any effects working on the outside of an object like shading etc. I put a border around the object to give me enough room to do it but still it doesn't work. Hi, I want to cut a word out of multi- circle background (like a bulls-eye ).... but I have tried all of the options in 'effects' (like extrude common, etc.) and none of them do what I require...can you tell me what I am doing wrong?
in your flexi vid 7 years ago (making beveled letters) you dropped down in effects to adobe plugins.... i went and bought adobe but cant seem how to get to down load to flexi-12.... help
These effects plug-in on Flexi is very slow and in most case, it crash the system. Photoshop would be the best choice when working with serious raster image manipulation.
