Great video. I just got it, tried it for a week, and am sending it back. The main reason is because I prefer the no stubble feel. For anyone who uses a blade now and is considering this shaver, the best way to describe it is that it leaves your head feeling like 8-10 hours after shaving with a blade, stubble wise. Personally, I want to start my day feeling fresh and a clean shave is a huge part of that equation. I don’t want to start the day with a shave that feels like I’m already 8-10 hours into my day. That’s just my two cents. I’m glad others like it!
As crazy as it sounds, yes I do wets have my head and face daily. I stopped using this razor completely. It just wasn’t for me. I am likely in the minority though.
I just got one ...ready to test it out...in my opinion that cut it gave u in the video is good to me...I'd rather do that then shave all the time with a blade ..
Thanks for the straight forward review! Unfortunate to hear some people are having issues in the comment section. I am about to order one for Black Friday & now I am concerned.
I’ve never had one single issue and I’ve been shaving every other day since this review. I have the blades come every so often, I don’t even hand to think about it. You won’t regret it.
Got mine like 3-4 months ago. Definitely a great close shave. It looks just as good as a razor shave but when you can feel a little bit of tiny hairs when you pass your hand over your head. But at least no nicks or cuts. :)
I just got one today and your review is spot on. I got the case and a couple of extra blades. You're right. The back of my head feels razor smoothe maybe better than a razor with no cuts.
I just received mine today and its awesome! I'm not really ready for the razor but still want that close shave feel and this is it! Took me no more than 10mins my first time amd I'm really pleased. Plus, theres no mess and easy to clean!
Thanks for being honest. You said it’s NOT blade smooth. That’s the best part for me with using my razor. I want the low no hair at all besically feel.
Yeah I believe I'm going to have to pick one of these up. I have been using a Brio Beardscape for about 2 years and it does a really good job but it doesn't get as close as I would like. Plus the cleanup is a pain. Great review
i had the exact same effect where the back is extremely smooth but the top not as much. i go over the back with this and then shave the rest with a razor cus i don’t struggle with razor burn or anything like that, just got this product for fun
Appreciate the info. I was considering buying this shaver but I prefer a razor-smooth shave and was wondering if this product was going to deliver what I wanted before I spent the money on it. Thanks again!
You’re welcome! It gets it close. Only the top of my head isn’t blade smooth, so I’ll just go over that with a blade afterwards. It’s not perfect but it does make it easier.
I had my first one for over a year before the battery gave out. But since I get recurring shaver heads they sent me a replacement for free. Can’t beat that. ✌️
You’re very welcome! You can also get new blades that just pop in, sent to you on any type of recurring schedule. They last 55 or so shaves. Hope he likes it!
This shave sucks after few months - I just had mine for 4 months and it stopped working. It's not water proof not even water resistant, the screws rust out on the shaver itself and build up humidity inside the saving mechanism. Worst money ever spend and Freedom grooming is not answering any of my emails as I am trying to cancel the recurring blade charges.
I bought this shaver and really liked it but the first time that I opened the blade heads to clean it out on of the plastic backings that hold the heads cracked and broke off.
I’m sure if you call or email them and explain what happened they’ll send a replacement blade. They can be a bit flimsy, just have to be extra careful, I’ve broken one off too lol
I know I’m late to the video… Appreciate your videos. Seriously considering the Freebird. Quick question for anyone who has already taken the plunge. Is getting the membership (to get the lifetime warranty and blade discount) worth it? Just how often do you change your blades? I’m new to the head shaving community and trying to figure this out… will probably look to shave my head every 2-3 days.. thanks in advance for your assistance
cool review, definitely looks like it works, but i am reading lots of disturbing reviews were people are complaining about an unauthorized subscription - a monthly $25 charge to their credit cards for new blades that cannot be cancelled.. and that their customer service is impossible to reach..🤔🤔 🧐you sure you don't work for them, pal?🧐
@@Mc88Flyy I actually shaved half my head, then charged it and it's coming on but it's very quiet and just not cutting. I look like an escaped mental patient but I'll try charging it longer, thanks;
@@internetexpertmd4670 if you’re still having issues after charging I would email/call them. If could be a faulty shaver. I’m not sure how long to initially charge it, just wait for the red light to turn green.
It really depends on how often you use the mower but usually they’ll need sharpening twice per season or after 25 hours of use to keep your blades in good shape
@@Mc88Flyy I've tried multiple ones and same result. I'm African American so perhaps that has something to do with it. If I don't let it grow out or use a single bladed razor, I get chewed up.
