I actually got these two panels from a local FlexSolar rep. They are Amazon returns they are selling individually, or in bulk. Look up Flexsolar on FB marketplace for details. Some boxes are missing an accessory or two, but the panels have been tested. I was happy to get these two panels as they can power USB devices and charge USB battery banks. These two also have a 12 Volt output to charge small portable power stations and/or power small 12 Volt DC appliances within the output of the panel.
These will be going in my faraday storage containers when not used. They are a great prep for battery charging of camping lighting, and other camping electronics.

can this be kept outside rain/snow. if so i want to mount it outside permanently with a 25 feet usb extension to run it inside my home as charger for my tablet and phone and small portable battery banks. how do i keep my extension from damage from the elements.

I don't think the material of many of these portable solar panels will hold up more than 6 months to a year when permanently mounted outside, in the elements. But, I have not tried it. If you are using a portable panel like this, I would advise mounting it inside, in a window that gets sun most of the day. Also, standard USB type plugs are not weather sealed from moisture. Over time the contacts could get oxidized and loose good contact. Most of the portable panels are 12V system rated, putting out up to about 16 to 21 Volts DC in max sun exposure. But, they have a USB buck-down (5 to 5.5V) to plug in USB devices. For longevity, in your case, if not using a portable power station with it, I would use a permanent mount panel, and wire it's leads to an aftermarket cigarette lighter style plug inside, to put car style plug adaptor for USB charging, inside. The best outside electric connections for PV panels are MC4 connectors. Next best are SAE, or weather proof automotive connectors that have an O"ring seal, as MC4 connectors do. Most permanent panels come with MC4 connectors already on their output leads. I hope this helps. Also, I would add 20% to double the wattage output needs as far as PV panel rating. This may help out a bit on cloudy days, compared to lower rated panels. As far as portable panels, usually the 15 watts or lower don't have a 12V output, and may output only 6 to 10VDC to it's USB buckdown converter. Just remember, when the panel gets hot from the sun, it can loose up to half or more of it's rated wattage output. Sorry for the novel.. But, there are variables to consider.
