Second flight of the day and second time in a pod harness. Waaaaay better than my previous flight. Still cross-controlling on occasions, but it's not as bad here. This time I transitioned to the downtubes with ample time. Nailed that spot landing, but I could have flared harder to have made it even better.
When I got over the landing zone, I noticed there was a shadow of another hang glider near mine. They were higher up, so I made sure to be quick about my landing. I wanted to dance to celebrate my landing, but I hustled off the field so I would not be in their way. Belatedly: "WOOO!"
Oh. And the instructor cleared me to launch on my own.
Also, I will not be doing that for a while longer. I learn something--and typically multiple somethings--from him each session. There is still sooooo much I need to learn.
