Flight Attendant Allegedly Made MLB Wife Clean Up Popcorn 

I can only imagine the way she is raising her kids, if they won't/can't clean up their own mess at that age... Poor children.

They’re FLIGHT ATTENDANTS not maids. Your children = your mess. Being pregnant is not an excuse, I’m pregnant too and I would never let my children leave a mess like that. That’s embarrassing.

Hard to feel bad for the MLB family which make millions each year complaining that a flight attendant that makes so little should be cleaning

If you're high risk then don't fly. If you absolutely have to fly for an emergency they could have hired a private plane if cleaning up after your children was so hard.

Honestly the flight attendant did the right thing making her pick up after her own children. Around of applause to this flight attendant for making her clean up the mess

If she was that high risk to not be able to clean her own children’s mess then she shouldn’t have been on an airplane traveling. If this happened at her own home does that mean she doesn’t have to pick it up there either?

I can’t believe that she’s using being 5 months pregnant as an excuse for not helping clean her kids mess. Your mess/your kids mess- your guys’ responsibility. The flight attendant should not have to clean up after you like that. If you can’t clean up your kids messes/teach them to clean up their own, having kids should not be your first thing on your mind.

Her husband makes a couple million a year. Instead of complaining hire a full time nanny, which would cost her husband 1 percent of his salary. Problem solved.

I’m working at a grocery store while I get through college. The amount of times people have left half eaten sub sandwiches and cups filled with actual urine and all this other garbage in their shopping carts is insane. On top of that, they don’t even bring their cart to the cart returns. Just because someone gets paid to clean up after you, it doesn’t excuse being a POS.

If this had happened to one of us unprivileged people, this story would've NEVER gotten publicity! I don't have kids by choice, but when my dog craps or makes a mess, I, myself, pick it up! Maybe next time don't travel by yourself. And even better... just have ANOTHER kid not want to clean up after. And if this pregnancy is so high risk, why even fly?🤔

I pick up my grandchildren mess when we go to a restaurant when they throw stuff on the floor . Good for Flight attendants for telling her to pick up the mess . If you can fly then what is the problem to get on your kneees and pick up the mess your kids did . The sister saying the rest of the passengers only looked at her sister and not helping that should say it all .

I don't see the problem? Should every kid (and/or adults) on an aircraft spill whatever and how much they want and not be responsible to clean it up? So what if she's pregnant? Tell your kids to clean up their mess... That's what's called raising your kids!

Did they expect the crew to clean it up? At least make your kid help clean up.

I was a cabin cleaner for delta and I couldn’t believe how dirty people can be on a flight. I had to clean spit up sun flower seeds all over the ground and back seat pocket. The flight attendant did good 👏🏽

A high-risk pregnancy was obviously approved by your doctor to fly. A 5 month pregnant woman is not an excuse to not at least try to pick-up the popcorn around you and the children. Many pregnant women work up to almost their due date. We all weren't there, so we don't know how everything went down but I've never encountered a flight attendant acting in that manner.

I thought people who had high risk pregnancies were encouraged to not fly. I realize that that is not the central issue, just a thought.

Let’s give a thanks to all the pregnant ladies who clean up after their children, wipe noses, referee fights, do laundry, and don’t have a hired housekeeper, nanny, or paid help to do all these things. You rock!!!!!!

*GUYS, BREAKING NEWS* A parent is held responsible for her kids. Maybe, next time, don't give your kids popcorn or at least have someone with you if your pregnancy is so high risk that you can't clean up after your kids.

I’ve been flying with my daughter since she was 3 months old. I always make sure to clean up after her if she made any mess. Personally, I would have helped a pregnant woman clean up but it’s not ok to belittle those who wouldn’t 🤷🏾‍♀️

Appalling, made a pregnant woman clean up her child’s mess. Did they really think we would have sympathy? They should ALL be embarrassed, but especially the news station for reporting it. This could’ve been a beautiful lesson for the mother to her toddler, you make a mess you clean it up!

Using “MLB wife” or name dropping the famous sister wasn’t necessary @Inside Edition! The point is a pregnant woman was asked to clean up a mess her child made. Like using “MLB wife” or name dropping her sister’s name elevates this woman above any other pregnant mom or passenger that flies any airline! When my kids were little, I always cleaned up their messes in public places. It’s considerate and respectful. Also, if she’s high risk, what is she doing traveling? You would think she A. wouldn’t be traveling at all as to not be far from her OB that is monitoring her pregnancy, and B. if she must travel, why would said “MLB husband” or famous sister not be traveling with her in case of an emergency, leaving said messy toddler alone while “high risk” mom is in the ER, OR, or whatever! I guess MLB player and sister took to Twitter to get their fans mad. FOUL BALL!

When we start teaching our children correctly, these wouldn’t have happened. I see women with kids in church do the same thing. They eat and drop wraps of biscuits or fruit juice packs on the floor. Very annoying.

She should have cleaned up after her kids.

I worked at a taproom restaurant family friendly, and we had a section for kids. There was toys and books. Unfortunately for a whole 2 years it would be the messiest section because parents would not pick up after their kids or least teach them to clean up after yourself. So they finally took it and people ask why🤦‍♀️

She has no high risk pregnancy! If she did she wouldn't be on no airplane especially along with two other small Children. Shes lying for sympathy. She should have cleaned it up. If not maybe she should have asked for help. Flight Attendants aren't maids. She should have brought her own dam maid/nanny.

High risk pregnancy and she's flying? I'm not feeling too bad about holding a parent responsible for cleaning up after their children. I've seen the disaster many families have left in restaurants.

My mom with 4 kids, what she would’ve done in the first place is that she would give us a little portion or she would feed us by her hand, so that it wouldn’t make a mess. Although it’s a part of the cabin crew to clean it, I’d say everyone should do their part to respect and learn the responsibility to clean it up, and they’re aren’t exactly cleaners to be fair, so do your part.

Your husband picks up the ball that he throws, right? Then have your children do the same on popcorn and hope for the best they would follow in their dad's footstep in the future. Baby steps taken.

I've seen it many times in places like restaurants where parents bring little ones who make a mess all over the table, carpet, etc and then leave the place as if nothing else happened!

You made the decision to have the child, become pregnant, go on a flight, and let your child have popcorn. You're like everyone else. Be more responsible and controlling over your child in this instance. They're flight attendants, not maids.

Pregnant or not, your kid makes a mess you make the kid clean it up if they're old enough if not then you clean it up the best that you can.

Outside of her identity or her pregnancy situation I honestly have never seen even adults clean up after themselves who have made an even bigger mess.

As a caregiver to my 93 year old mother with late stage Alzheimer's, I couldn't open my passenger side door to get my wheelchair bound mother into my car because someone was parked in the lined section. I told him that was illegal and I had get my mom inside my car. He said he had to park there because his wife was pregnant and it was drizzling and he didn't want her to walk to the store in a drizzle. DRIZZLING. 🤦‍♀️

I saw a woman's child knock a bunch of cellphone cases down at a t mobile store. They asked the woman to pick up the mess and she told them no, I don't work here. I couldn't believe the audacity of the mom

The same thing goes for buses and everything else! Every time the band went to competition or a away game, we left stuff on the floor. We were told, EVRERY SINGLE TIME, to pick up our socks, shoes, wrappers, hangers, etc. And we could not get off, put up instruments, and head home till it looked had the way it did before we got on. Her daughter accidentally spilled it. She is too young to understand what she did, so mom needs to step in and clean up after her.

I have a high risk pregnancy, but doesn't mean I don't clean up after my 5 year old daughter who has Autism. In fact, I have issues now where my blood pressure drops a bit after standing for too long, yet I'm still a mom, so no day off for me.

Safety hazard might be taking it a little far but they're not your maid. If your kid was spilling popcorn, you should've been aware and told her to be careful. You're too fragile to clean it then have your 3 y/o clean up her mess. She's old enough to manage that and its a good way to teach accountability and the importance of respecting other people in a shared space.

Well honestly if she's 5 Mos with a high risk pregnancy she shouldn't be on an airplane... but it's the responsibility of flight staff to clean up messes... however you should clean up after yourself

Aw hell no I would’ve got up out of my seat and helped her pick it up. I don’t know her but it’s the right thing to do. I work in the airlines and sometimes the flight attendants have worse attitudes than the passengers
