The first part of the vlog on the phone was great. No viewing/sound issues and the picture clear😎. You stressed for no reason. The phone will never disappoint.
Hi 👋🏻 my sister used to live in St. Louis. I went to visit when I was around 12. We went to the top of the arch. It was a lot of fun. Took about fifteen minutes in an elevator to get to the top. I didn’t feel claustrophobic and I can get that way sometimes. The view from the top was amazing. At the time I was able to look into the old Busch Stadium. If you decide to go up into the Arch, make sure you watch the movie on how it was made first. It’s amazing that they built each side at the same time and met at the top. If it was off just the slightest bit it wouldn’t have worked. Highly recommend a trip to the top when you have the time. Stay safe vickie
Thank you for sharing your layover.😊 You made me laugh walking around there.😊 It has been years since I have had a couple of layovers there in St. Louis. We were close to the Arch Park area. I think that was the Hyatt Hotels that we stay. I could see the Arch from my hotel room. But no, I did not take the Arch elevator up to the top. And you are right, I have heard from before former coworkers some years ago that they have felt a little claustrophobic while going or riding in and up in those small elevators. And since the pandemic that we have gone through, many people still have not gone to the top. Also, I think some years ago, the famous world traveler Rick Steves did a TV special about the Arch there in St. Louis.😊
Will, my first partner was from Saint Louis, so have visited the Arch. And, yes, for those with any anxieties, it could be claustrophobic up top, because there is much less area inside the Arch at the top compared to ground level. It certainly is doable. Not being claustrophobic, cannot comment on what that entails. As for food, it is much more an Italian cuisine city rather than barbecue. TOASTED RAVIOLI. Remember that if u lay over there again Also, find a chain supermarket - SCHNUCK’S - go go the bakery and buy a gooey butter cake. That is the name - gooey butter cake. You are in for a real treat. We would buy a dozen of them and stuff our luggage either them going back to Los Angeles. Stay safe. Herman
I love the Vlogs bro keep em coming . Thank you for being you . Seeing you flying around each state and out of country makes me wanna really consider becoming FA
Thank you!! :) I'm heading to an international destination this week so stay tuned!!!! I vote you allow yourself to go through the process if it's something you'd really like to do.
Hi. I enjoy your channel. To answer your question, yes, I’ve been to the top of the arch. It beautiful and claustrophobic inducing. The elevator ride up was a bit uncomfortable as well; but the view was breathtaking.
I always enjoy your vlogs.. I have followed you since the pandemic. You used to fly over our school playground in Chicago when you were based in Chicago or at least I wondered if each Frontier plane was yours. Through you, I found Dev and enjoy her vlogs too, and now she’s helped you with this one which is sweet.
Hi Will I’m Lonnie I recently had a layover there and went up in the arch and it was nice but very small. I do recommend it to all of our flying brothers and sisters to see it while on there layover there if time permits but overall Forrest Park in the summertime is great to take a nice walk in. The vlog was very pleasant and looking forward to seeing more. Fly safe and hopefully we will cross paths in the airport one day! 💙💚✈️🙏🏼👋🏽👍🏽
Hey Will, the video turned out amazing so don’t worry. Glade you had a great time in STL and you are looking so so handsome Will. Hope you have a great week. Take care and be safe. Big Bear Hugs and much love from BHM.
Had a nice layover there last summer. Visited the Arch but didn’t go up top. I did go to their free museum which was really cool! Then pregamed at Hooters before catching the baseball game. Trying to check off all the ball parks on my layovers. Hurry up 3K! 😂
Hi Will, Yes, I've gone to the top and on the way up had my first anxiety attack. It is very close quarters and the "capsule" sort of rotates slightly due to the shape of the arch. You usually have to get tickets in advance. Btw, Kansas City has the best bbq, lol. Depending on whether you like sweet or smoky. My favorite is Rosedales or Jack Stacks. A sweet Bbq. Take care. ✈✈
The phone worked well. Don’t stress. That is not healthy for you. We love your videos but not risk your health. We can wait a day or two for a new video. Take care.
I wasn't really stressing, there are some challenges when it comes to editing that complicates it for me, which is the part you guys don't get to see, but glad everyone liked it.
My husband is claustrophobic and didn’t have any problems going to the top of the Arch (he did have a problem sleeping on top bunk of an Amtrak train, he couldn’t do it) I think you may have to buy tickets in advance for the Arch
We fly Frontier out of Denver and Stl alot and many crews are Orlando based and not once do ever see these many crew who RU-vid. Must be weird luck. Like watching yiur and others videos!
