It’s a huge amount of hours-especially considering you need to get up early to prepare for your day and then all of the rest. Actually it sounds a killer! You deserve all the benefits & cash you get. 110 hours a month? 40 hours × 4 weeks = 160 hours. Or for truck drivers 70 hours × 4 weeks = 280 hours. The away from home definitely sucks but trucking is same. The customers make the 170 hours more a truck driver does well worth the trade off, in truckers favor.
How does Etihad measure your hours? Some airlines base departure and arrival times on when chocks are removed and placed. How does Etihad calculate it?

I don't get hours. In Australia, the new cabin crew who have completed their qualifications don't even get a chance. They are not willing to give as a chance. It's just unfair for us because we are capable and they never give the new people a chance.
