@@amari648 Reread what I wrote, I never said he didnt improve. I am claiming that while he has gotten better at executing moves he is fundamentally the same player he has always been, as he still only does the same moves he has always done. He is definitely more polished, there is no doubt about that, in terms of his fluidity, athleticism, and overall coordination when executing moves, but this does not mean he has expanded upon his game. For example, he has always done the same right to left push cross, the same right handed drive, the same contested hook shot over his defender when he is cut off going downhill after doing one of the two moves mentioned above, and the same open threes (he has gotten a lot better at shooting which is huge). He has added a one dribble pull up, which is one sign of expansion of his game, but that is all it is- one new thing he does and even this is just a derivative of his right hand. If you stand in front of Flight and do not let him shoot an open three, he cant shoot a three, so he tries to drive with his right hand or cross with his right hand. Once he does one of these moves, which is predictable because both actions start with his right hand, all the defender has to worry about is cutting it off and forcing some poor shot attempt which he throws over his head. He might do a turnaround, but basketball is a game of numbers, and as a defender I would be fine with the odds of him taking a turnaround jump shot. These are all the same moves he always did, he just looks nicer doing them. My point is, if someone's game has been expanded upon, one would expect to see new areas of development, not just improvement of the same actions he has always done. The fact that I can break down the entirety of Flight's basketball skillset in a one sentence list of 3-4 moves is a problem in regard to his ability to be a good basketball player and the development I recommended above was a proposition of ways he could improve his basketball game, not an attempt to claim he has not improved.
