To answer your question regarding the overhead bins being closed for boarding. That’s the standard operating procedures for all the wide body aircraft at AC. Those bins get really heavy when full and if crew have to close 60+ bins that weigh as much as them it will end up in injuries. Therefor they keep them closed for boarding, and when a passenger comes across a closed bin and stow their belongings in it, their natural instinct will be to close it as that’s how they found it.

I love your videos. They’re so consistent, reliable, informative. They aren’t shaky and have clear images. I like the simple editing and no music - the plane sounds are so soothing to me and sometimes I watch these videos to sleep. Thank you!!

I'll be flying in hopefully in February and all the deals are pointing towards Air Canada, looks cozy. It's good you got to put the luggage on the overhead first, I have a peeve when it comes to people from other sections hoarding all the space. Wow tarmac engine start! Exciting indeed and you didn't have to listen to the safety stuff while it powered up. 😁

“Trying” to fly this same flight for next May. Was supposed to go to Tokyo in May 2020 for my sons graduation gift…..obviously that was canceled due to Covid-19. Rebooked on United/ANA for May 2021…..canceled…errr…Let’s hope 3rd times a charm and that spring is eternal…..rebooked again on AC for MAY 2022….CHEAP..$490 U.S. r/t from Cleveland via Toronto!!! Great video. We picked first row in back where seats go to 2 instead of 3.

Yeah, it is. And I love the snowy wilderness scenery of Northern Canada, such as at 14:48. And at 14:57, I think that is Great Bear lake on the horizon

with all those Aeroplan miles, you should be flying business class.
@PlaneGeekTravels
@PlaneGeekTravels 5 лет назад
cherifbar I wish. lol Unfortunately, even the cheapest air canada fare will not even give you the full mileage to your aeroplan. You need to really be a frequent flyer to enjoy those perks.

If we depart from Canada, are they need a passport check?
@PlaneGeekTravels
@PlaneGeekTravels 5 лет назад
Nadif Indoflyer There is no Immigration/Customs when you depart from Canada on an International flight. But passports are checked during checkin and boarding.
