Buy your carry-on and checked bag when you buy the ticket with them. They are 25-30 each then. If you wait until the airport, you're paying too much. They give you water for free if you ask, and if you complain about being 5 minutes late again, I'm going to have to smack you.

Man that's a long flight on Frontier. Recently I flew them fron Las Vegas to Tampa on Frontier and my back was sore from those tiny seats. Frontier is probably the most uncomfortable airline in the nation. But I still fly them sometimes because of the prices. Sometimes the prices are just so good it makes the tiny uncomfortable seats worth it. Sure I'd much rather fly Delta or Alaska or JetBlue but I'm not going to be paying double for it.

Just took Frontier from SFO to CLT changing planes in DEN, paid extra for the stretch seating, and felt like I was in semi business class. I'm 6'2" and it was well worth it.

FYI: JAL STILL operates a 787 from SAN-NRT from T2 east, they haven't ever been in T1 to my knowledge

JAL still does have service to narita to San Diego

frontier airlines are still going? geez it's been years since their funny cammerical reels

SAN is my home airport too, we always complain about how crappy T1 is, it's better at night, but try anything before 2:00 and it's borderline unsafe and you usually can't even find ANY seating, T2 West is great

Good report but, dude, cut down on the complaining. Also 5 min delayed isnt even officially considered a "delay" at all unless its 15 min or more. Also those arent "Sharklets" on the wingtips, they are winglets.
