Nice review. This Boeing 777-300er came at the same time as their A380-800 which they both have the same business seats as each other. Also HS-TKK is the first delivered Boeing 777-300er for Thai Airways. So that’s this plane has the 2012 interior and vibe l.
This interior is from 2012 which also has the same type on it’s A380. Some of the their Boeing 777-300er has newer business class seats the ones like their A350-900 but the colour is newer and looks different from their 2012 purple colour. But still the same design as this one. Also HS-TKK and HS-TKL are both the older 777-300er in the fleet and that’s why it has the older style seats and interior. The newer style is HS-TKX up to HS-TKZ which is the newer style business class seats. But economy seats on all of them are just the same. The newer ones has first class together but those ones are ex Jet Airways planes. So that’s why originally Thai Airways never had first class on their 777-300er unlike other airlines. Their first class are all mainly on all their 747-400 and A380-800.
From my experience, Thai Air Business class in long haul flights is bad and disappointing: When I booked my return business class tickets from Germany to Thailand, I chose both flights in new planes, but just a few days or weeks before the flight date Thai Airways changed both for OLDER PLANES, aged and less comfortable. Also they didn't respect my seats number bookings. The business class SEATING were BAD for anybody taller than 170 cm, the rows were too close excepting two rows. The AUDIO-VIDEO SYSTEM HAD CONTINUOUS INCIDENTS, it was impossible to watch movie o listen music without suffer shutdown several times. Also some of the headphones give a horrible sound. The crew was used to this; they had to reset the system several times during the flight. AC: the business cabin temperature was too cold, frozen. I wasted my first 5 days in Thailand on bed, sick because of it. FOOD: just regular. DRINKS: wines were served 10-15 minutes later than food, too late and unacceptable for a Business class. BOARDING and Security: there was no a different queue and finger for business passengers, it was together with economy class. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, horrible, Air China standard. They made me miss a connecting flight in Bangkok due to the long delay in the arrival of the Thai Air flight. They did not take responsibility for anything, nor did they provide any solution or compensation, and they treated me very disrespectfully, demonstrating that customer service and satisfaction is a concept unknown to Thai Air, nothing to do with European standards. Score for the long haul business class in Thai Airways: FAIR to BAD After that deceiving and disappointing experience and the poor quality, I have never flown with Thai Air again. There is a good choice of much better airlines: Turkish, Qatar, Singapore, Lufthansa, Cathay,...
Thanks for thorough answer, so sorry to hear about your experience. But I agree with that there are some other airlines I rather fly with to Asia rather than Thai. Of my favorite to fly with to Asia is Qatar Airways
I flew Frankfurt also and the plane is very old 2 remotes controls on 3 seat we had in Business Class was broken, I wrote to complain and they never replied. It's a pity because to be honest service was good and wine selection very good. The company deserve to have new planes it can be a great product.
Thanks for watching☺️ So sad to hear that you had an bad experience on you r flight✈️ I totally agree, let’s hope they will invest in new and better fleets in the future🤞
Good review, THANK YOU for showing the tray table, I am big and often I cannot use it, showing how it swivels was great to see. I now know I can use the table if I choose to fly Thai.
@@andifuture2825 How dare you tell me what to do with my health & life ! Who do you think you are ? ....We all have our faults; like you cannot help being a rude, ignorant, unpleasant little man.
Nice review ! By the way I'm flying with Thai Airways soon and I'm wondering do they offered inflight wifi onboard their 777's segment from BKK to FRA? Hope to hear from you soon cheers !
