This was the first panel I bought, and I could not be without it now. If you fly on Vatsim, this panel is a must, as the last thing you want to be doing when being given departure or arrival instructions, is trying to twist knobs a dials with mouse clicks. The radio panel is next. I have found an alternate though if you are new to flight sims and can't afford to be splashing out on hardware, and that is FSRadioPanel. Its an App for Andriod/IOS that goes on your tablet, and does everything these panels do. I have found this also hard to do without now, and its only £11 for the Pro version or free if you don't mind Adverts all over the shop 🤦‍♂️😊

Try using this in the Cessna 172 steam gauge version with this, I believe it has that same unit.

Just found this in stock on Amazon, they had three left so I snagged one. Will make my MSF2020 experience a lot better. I'm also waiting to find an RTX 3080 to replace my 2070. Great video, thanks mate!

Nice overview. Ive considered this very item many times over, and agree with you about how easy it would be dialling in altitudes instead of click spots - as you say, espwcially when flying through turbulence. Thanks for the overview, it is on my list, but then I want other stuff first - mainly a new GPU exactly like you.

I have a question: There seems to be an unusually high number of Brits who enjoy flight simming when compared with Americans, Aussies, and other English-speaking people. This is despite heavier-than-air flight having started in the USA, although I've noticed the popularity gap is even wider when it comes to space simming, like Elite: Dangerous, which makes sense since Elite was originally for the BBC Micro. My question is if you would know any other reasons, besides the history of Elite and the BBC Micro, as to why flight and space simming seems more popular with Brits? Or is the popularity not as different as I perceive? I just notice that there are many Brits online doing flight sim videos and not as many Americans proportionally, certainly not as many good ones or many under the age of 40 lol. I'm literally the only person I've ever met who sims at all, unless you tried to count star wars squadron games lmao.

Hello, I make two SIMPLE queries about the LOGITECH MULTI PANEL (I want to find it to use in an Airbus A320neo in FS2020): - When you change the ALT on the multi panel, it ok on the A320 sim? or how do you interpret the push of the knob? (In the virtual cockpit of the simulator, once you entered the new ALT, one must press the knob (push) to activate. THIS, can it be replicated in the multi panel? - When you start the sim in a parking lot, does it start on? or can it only be used if you start on a track? THANKS.

Just got this today (Dec 10, 2020). Nice that it connects direct to the aircraft in MSFS without the need initially to map any buttons. I did wonder, however, about the "granularity" of the silver knob. I noticed when you changed the heading it was changing one degree at a time. The altitude was 1000 feet at a time. On mine, the headings were 10 or more degrees at a time and the altitude 2000 feet for each click. Did you have that issue?

I have this panel and the Honeycomb bravo throttle (with AP). This is way easier and better to use than the Bravo. I don't think I ever got the AP to work with the Bravo throttle, plus the throttle levers get in the way.

Hi there, does the rotary knob consist of two knobs, a smaller inner one and a larger outer one and does this allow for changing with 100 / 1000 increments? Or can you push the rotary knob to switch between 100 / 1000 increments? Thanks !!

It is dumb that there's only one knob to turn- the most frequent adjustments are heading and altitude or vs. It is annoying to constantly turn the first knob between the two- at the very least they should've put heading as the very first preset instead of crs, that way you wouldnt have to look down at the panel

At present in MSFS, theres no way to configure the panel, but we have been promised updates in the future that may allow you to do this.

There is an IAS button on this panel, isn't that essentially FLC? Indicated Air Speed.

@@ImagenNoReligion Maybe when flying bigger planes when AP is controlling speed, but that it not the case with smaller airplanes, where you need to adjust the speed yourself. then you need the FLC mode

Negative. These are a nightmare to get to work in FS2020. They barely worked in the FSX days... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Don't believe @Sim Geeks was making a big deal, just reviewing a product which was new to himself and demonstrating compatibility with the newly released MSFS. Incidentally, fellas have also been using this for years in P3d and FSX too.

Don't buy Logitech Flight product. The support is miserable and it's not working very well with MSFS2020 ... Horrible !

All of this Logitech gear is really crappy. I don't know how people keep suggesting it? Giant toy like construction with no concern about quality. The dials are super crunchy and imprecise. Look into better hardware like PropWash Sim gear or something.

For this price, you cant beat it, unless you are a pro and have lots of income and want to spend hundreds.
