Flight Simulator 2020 How to Fix Control Input Issues (keyboard bindings) 

Had the lagging/sticking issue with control surfaces. Remove elevator up/down inputs in the set up same with rudder use only the Axis for control works great!

What is the right-side column for? I've never seen or heard an explanation. All assignments seem to be on the left side. So when is the right side used?

Video didn't help the rudder not working properly, when turn it snap back to centre I tried reset to default still same can't taxi air craft joy stick is T16000M I check to make shore the joy stick buttons are working properly and they are it work in XPLANE no problem.there is 2 axis X showing under inputs one for rudder and throttle I'm not shore if this should be the case I can't seem to map it any other way.

The triggers on my xbox controller worked and work perfectly but in the game they act as buttons. Either on or off 😭🤷‍♂️ . Its making me.go crazy

Ah man, was doing the same, was going to the flaps and seeing the button was the correct button and scratching my head. I then went to the number assigned on my throttle quadrant, and see that it was also assigned to speed brakes. Cheers man, I can fly the A320 again!!!!!! (Plus i feel a bit stoopid)

Hey bro, do you have a fix for this: My pitch and roll controls lag, my throttle is perfectly fine, and so is the camera, but pitching and rolling the craft happens with 1 second delay which makes it unflyable.

i just installed the game and i at first i thought the controls were a bit weird but okay, did some of the turtorials and left the game, but afyer this the inputs in my keyboard were all fucked up, like, "w" was rolling the page up and "s" was moving down and other things, is there anyway i can reboot my keyboard or fix this? my keyboard is a Reddragon Kumara K552, if anyone can help me i would be forever grateful, because im getting a bit desperate already

Might be “really simple” but its extremely frustrating when I set everything up and it reassigns for no apparent reason. So don’t assume its user error. Ive setup control settings for a320, Longitude, Kodiak, Cessna 172, and a couple others. So to say the least I know the process, but after a day or two of things working fairly well, all of a sudden, after making a 1 or 2 hours a320 flight the throttle all of a sudden controls the ailerons and I crash on landing. Ive reset complete control assignments, deleted the sim and reinstalled, tried another controller. Nothing so far has truly resolved this issue.

I love this sim, but not liking the behavior of aircraft in it. I feel like I have to apply way too much back pressure just to rotate on takeoff, or rotate at a faster speed, at least for the C172. Also, with 1 notch of flaps, it still climbs at like 90kts 1000fpm instead of 75-80kts. I’ve also noticed aircraft behavior seems to change a bit when coming back into the sim after closing or, and sometimes it switches to cursor mode without warning. I also feel the auto pilot system doesn’t work right at all.

Hi I'm on xbox series X Using normal controller.. I've just had a issue where it would not let me decrease my thrust using the B button or manually This happend during the landing process of a 4hr flight 🤬🤬🤬 Luckily I was able to land it Still didn't regain control over the thrust So I had to keep turning off the engine And turning it back on As it automatically kept on putting my thrust to 98% on both engines 😡😡 Does anyone know how to fix this please ?

My 2 and 8 work sometimes then loose all control and just crash. Was ok for a few months but has come back now.

I am using keyboard and mouse and facing lot of problems 1. The yoke won't turn smoothly. When i press the keys NUM4 and MUN6, it turns in steps... This is annoying. Also when I pull or push the yoke and then release the key the yoke wont come back to the normal position automatically. it should right? 2. Sometimes camera gets stuck to left side.. i have to restart the whole thing.. 3. Partking brake key Ctrl+P is assigned but it doesnt work at all 4. They control they display on screen aren't proper. for example during flight training and all..

i didn't see anything about the keyboard bindings here...

So here's my bug. I have made key bindings for "Avionics Master Bus 1" and separate bindings for "Avionics Master Bus 2," on and off for both. (Total of four bindings.) However, the bindings for Bus 2 do not operate the Bus 2, instead, it also operates bus 1. I have tried this on several planes and it happens on all of them. I made sure there were no duplicate bindings. So, the only way to toggle the Avionics Master Bus 2 toggle switch is with a mouse clicking on the screen. When is someone going to address and fix this bug? I saw one suggestion to bind it instead to "Set Avionics Master Bus 2." That doesn't work because the "Set Avionics Master" key bindings only momentarily switch on, and then after a second or two switches back off. (What the hell is the purpose of this???) I am very surprised that I have not seen more comments about this bug anywhere on the internet.

Good information, but please reduce the simulator volume on future videos. Makes it very hard to understand and focus on what you’re saying.

This did not solve my problem

Simple my hairy ass. I reset it to default but only some of the controls work. Others only work only once or twice then stop. Reset everything to default again and its the same. This his sim is wonky as hell. I spend more time trying to make it work then actually flying. Therein lies the real object of the game; its a simulator about fixing a broken flight simulator. They should call it Monotonous Sim Fixer Simulator
