My wife and I were supposed to fly to Texas back in early May, for her daughter's wedding. The entire family was there, but we were unable to make it thanks to Texas weather. It was heartbreaking, and needless to say we missed the entire festivities. Lots of people trying to get to Texas for the past month have been thwarted. Welcome to spring/summer in the tornado belt.

We’re in Houston area, and was without power for about 20 hours. Not fun. But at least we didn’t deal with the flooding or tornadoes. Glad you were safe!

Tampa jay, I appreciate you understanding why your flight with frontiers was canceled. My son is a captain for Spirit…. It happens, American canceled my bfs fight he was assuming it was mechanical issues and it’s happened several different times just a few weeks apart. I usually fly Spirit had a great flight. A lot of people start blaming the airline when flights are canceled Or late….Your flight may be coming from a part of the country that is having bad weather so they can’t fly through it, which makes your plane late or if it can’t get there they cancel. My son is captain.

Sorry about your flight but at least you could enjoy spooky for another day. I met Rick and bought a couple of mask from him. Most notably a Hannibal hello kitty mask if you can imagine that! Anyway I hope to run into y’all at another horror con in the future!
