This airport walk was absolutely fascinating. The camera man did a wonderful job. So clear. So on-point. Keep up the good work. And I'm also particularly blown away by the beauty of this airport, not to mention it's orderliness and cleanliness all charmingly portrayed by your top of the line camera.

Thanks for the video! I am flying Qatar airways from Doha to Brussels in november. 3 and half hour transit at Doha. Quite a long walk from the gate to transfer. Some years back also had a transit at Doha. The airport was smaller then , renovations happening here and there. Hope the security check is quick.

Great video. I found Doha Airport is the best so fa: has got all the modern amenities, efficient, not over crowded, cleanliness is just stunning. Only thing I found was missing here is McDonald's!!!

Thanks for this. I am petrified of flying and have a solo trip coming up in 6 weeks from the UK-Australia with a transit at Doha. Absolutely dreading the whole thing but this video has put me a little at ease. My layover is 3 hours.. I allowed plenty of time because I am almost always getting lost and have no sense of direction haha!

Im 17 and will soon be having a connecting flight at doha airport. Not having much of a solo experience travelling internationally, im scared because the airport is so big. And i also am anxious to ask for help so i'll probably be lost until i find my gate. Hope it all goes smoothly😬

i have a 12 hour layover in Doha i swim daily and have just found that there is a 25mte swimming poll in the roof of the the airport cant wait thanks safe traveling

I have been really Lucky transiting through Doha, 8 times in the last 2 years and everything has been walking distance no trains involved. As always I'm loving what you do, very well filmed. I was really impressed in Doha by the well-dressed staff everyone was immaculate and some of them in lovely suits. In the gent's toilet I wanted to use the deposit department and had to wait until someone exited, the toilet attendant would not allow me to go in until he had cleaned the toilet thoroughly after the last guy left. Amazing.

How long did it took from your arrival to departure gate? I was looking for clocks on the wall to see but only clock I saw was see the beginning. I'm taking the same route you just did. My mom is using a wheelchair, so hopefully that will help us go through the airport faster. Maybe they will drive us instead.

Another fabulous report and such an impressive airport.I just had a friend go through there last week,looking forward to getting his thoughts on it.The train is such a wonderful asset and certainly must save a lot of walking.Looks like you guys just made it to your gate on time so good they had a train. I missed my connection at Doha due to my first flight landing late. Noone told me how long it would take to walk from one end of the airport to the other it was my first time at Doha ended up costing me an extra $800 to flight later that day( Qatar would not just rebook me in a later flight, even thought that fight, was not fully booked.. I also missed a connection flight in Ukraine. Then Ukraine Airlines in formed me that due to missing my connection they were cancelling my return with them in three weeks as well . Not the best experience . My advice is don't book short transfer/ layover times unless your very familiar with the airport.

Hi. Thanks for posting this. Very informative video. I’m thinking of taking a Qatar flight and transferring in DOH. but what if the connection time is only 60-90 minutes? Do you think that’s enough time to pass through security and walk to the gate for the connecting flight? Considering that flights begin boarding 30 mins prior to departure - so in reality I’ll only have 30 to 60 minutes to make it to my flight. What do you think? Based from your experience? Really enjoyed the video, really informative. Roughly how long did it take for you to get through security? Im looking at getting flights with a 2 hour transfer at Doha and am interested to know if it's long enough.

I came to the new airport 6 months after it opened on a flight from man /doah then doah to bkk but then it was off one aircraft straight onto the connecting flight to bangkok without going upstairs to security as it was not set up at that time it was just a case of find your connecting gate number and job done but now on my other flights since from the uk with qatar it is upstairs through the system then back downstairs to find your gate
