Build of the flightline rc 1200mm Spitfire. This model features lots of scale features for a model of this size and is a very easy build. Flight times are over 7 minutes with a 4100mah lipo. The choice of 2 decals also means that you can customize you model to level you want

I have the 1600 mm version. I want to touch up the paint because I followed the squadron code layout on the sheet only to find subsequently that the layout on the starboard side needs to be Z○GW. As careful as I tried I find that some paint has come off with the decal. Do you happen to know the names of the colours used and what make is best for this epo foam. Thanks Stuart

Hi there are there any videos setting the transmitter and receiver up on this model? I want to buy one at some point in the future after I’ve got good on my first plane, but I don’t know how to setup a pnp plane, cheers

Great vid. With reference to the 1600 model did you have problems balancing the prop. On my du bro I had to balance the back plate and then adding the blades had problems and more balancing. This had taken longer so far than putting together the model. I have never known such work balancing a prop. I have yet to then balance the Spinner

@@REDSRADIOCONTROL Thank you for your prompt reply. So did you have to add weight or did you sand the back oid the blades. I have 2 complete prop sets and both have a heavy blade according to the do bro balancer.

I would say assemble, it's not really a build.

I agree. I "assembled" a GWS Spitfire back in the summer (nowhere near the quality of kit in this video) but didn't really get any satisfaction from it. Looks nice. Over the last 6 months I've been building from a 1992 Radio Modeller plan. Its taking ages but it's interesting. I guess it depends if your preference is for crafting or flying.
