if you are 3 or more then train is no worth , In Rome Taxi has fixed price 50 euro from airport to anywhere in Rome? No hassle for catching train , buying ticket , loading luggage etc..When are you with family always take taxi , train is good for out side the city.In your case , first you paid airport train than local train and carrying luggage airport to local train , local train to metro station than metro to hotel..? Seems so much effort , and waste of time and expensive , apart from your experience if you enjoyed all this together?
