Only Smogon plebs use it, though. Garchomp is the only VGC Pokémon that may use it, but it's not its only viable choice.

You can teach leipard knock off (only ally moves are called by assist) or use 5 leipards

notices how.. all of these teams lack a dark type? the entire strat goes to waste with a dark type

It would actually be 65 percent flinch chance. Cuz kings rock is 10%. Chance to not flinch: 0.9^10 = 0.349... or ~34.9% Chance to flinch : 0.651... or ~65.1% This chance to flinch is higher than anything we've had before. Insane.

@@Phychologik according to veekun, it's 30/256, or approximately 11.7%. Maybe it got changed in Gen 8 or 9 IDK

It has a 100% flinch chance if the move hits ten times, the Sirfetched just happened to have the ability Steadfast, meaning that it cannot be made to flinch

@@juniorthao641 So many things wrong with that. 1. Each hit is, probabilistically speaking, an independent event. That means you don't just add 10% over and over. You multiply the chance of failure -- which, let's say for the sake of the argument, is 90% -- over and over. 0.90^10 is approximately 0.35. Therefore the odds would be 65%. 2. You can still flinch if you have Steadfast, but your Speed increases when you do.

I've been able to sweep a couple times in doubles with a tail wind murkrow and terastalizing with farigiraf to normal and using hyper voice, it sometimes work.

I meant to say I "never knew that" but I guess it didn't type it out or I fused knew with never so I spelled "knew" twice in a way.

Theres a crazy strat where they use assist to use dive/fly/dig. Prankster makes it move first so you dodge the first attack but then the move after it counts as just a normal attack and he will come up again last making it dodge all attacks. Some attacks still hit and i think they possibly changed something to make it stop working already but i loved the idea of that strat. It basically was literally undefeatable if you didnt have a counter for it

Theres a limited pool of moves assist can pull. Population bomb can be pulled, thief, by the other hand, can’t. If You make a pokemon with just one pullable move , they Will always pulls that move.

@Ultra You could have 3 Mausholds, but the extra moves from the Liepards would interfere with Assist.

@@Ultra289 I'm pretty sure Assist can use a move even if it's in the user's moveset, so you'll have to sacrifice Hone Claws on all but one Liepard.

Because Population Bomb is the only move on Maushold that is selectable by Assist.

Because Thief is not selectable by Assist, nor are Dig and Copycat.
