I appreciate you taking the time to demonstrate your pressure flaking method. I've been trying to get a handle on the parallel oblique technique and it helps to see another approach.
Nice point Ed,I don't know if you sell your points or not but I sell many knifes at craft shows, blades like that with an antler or polished wood handles,I get 30-50 bucks for most,at shows hardly anyone even look at my arrowheads, only a few so and I might sell 2-3 at a show and I sell 50-60 knives at a weekend show.
Hello, I watched a few of your old videos on knapping citronelle gravel, I'm in Louisiana and most of the rock I find here is too small to make anything, I was going to take a trip to Natchez in the next couple months, could you tell me of anywhere near Natchez or western Mississippi I could look for bigger pieces of the citronelle gravel?
There used to be a gravel pit near Cranfield where I would get some rocks. But that was in the 1980s. Maybe some landscaping or construction company would know where to find some big gravel. The last time I collected rock in Mississippi was along highways in the north of Jackson. I haven't been there since 1995. Sorry
