Yes, I agree, it would look great as both. This box isn't tall enough for a regular bottle - there's only 7 inches of height for a bottle, but it wouldn't be too difficult to resize as you could make the height of the bottom box taller. Thank you for watching.
Hi Donna I did make a bigger box like you suggested for the wine bottle it worked Thank you But I am going to try🤔 and figure out how to make bigger sides/door panels instead of the box part so when the sides drop down it will show more of the bottle I hope it works fingers crossed. Do you think it can work with your size box for the bottom. Its hard to find nice boxes for big wine/ Alcohol bottles. I don't like gift bags for bottles boxes are so much nicer I think
Yes it will work - it will just mean that your 'doors' will have a taller, narrower look to them. If you work on the triangle elements first you can then work out the size of the cardstock for the sloped element by measuring the sloped side of the triangle, and remember to add on for the glue tab and whatever closure you are having. Hope that makes sense! I would also recommend that you do add an additional base inside the box just to make sure it's strong enough for the weight of the bottle, no point in wasting wine with a smashed bottle!
