Indeed, it was crazy good! So many pages whit just a slight difference that really made the tension real. Also, the black in the end was nog just black but you could see movement in it. That's attention to details!
I liked daybreak too, it reminded me of a national geographic documentary. I loved super stool the best though, it had me going through all the emotions lol
Hi Andy! I’m the one who submitted the Frozen Awakening flipbook with the dragon, and thank you for putting me in the video! It was a lot of fun to make 😁
Hi Bella, enjoyed your flipbook alot. The colors really made everything pop. I'm an author of a fantasy series myself. I've been looking for someone to work with to make a graphic novel. Would you be interested in doing something like that? Thanks for your work!!
Hello signdigger! Thanks so much for your comment and while I’m honored you would like for me to work with you, I sadly don’t have enough time in my schedule for a project of that scale. Thanks so much for asking!
Loved this episode. Its so sweet how you're inspiring more artists in the world.. love it. My son is 6 and has been making his own little flip books.. maybe one day I'll be sending them in to you..😆
Hey! I was the Super Stool entry and I just want to say thank you so much andymation for choosing me as one of the top 10! I entered last year and it was so fun and amazing to see my flip books on a channel that I’ve been watching for years and and the channel that inspired me to make flips book. Thank you so much!
I can't believe I was picked for top 10! Thank you, Andy, you don't know how much this means to me. Thank you again for hosting the contest and congrats to all the other winners as well as everyone who participated!
These kinds of videos always unlock the creative side of my brain where I'm like, "HEY! let's creative something" but after an hour I get bored and lazy and ultimately decide just to watch other people do it.
Lol, same. I've learned to limit myself to things I'm pretty sure I can finish in about 30 minutes. If I'm still interested, I can always add on more or start another project, but always running out of gas before something is done really makes you lose faith in your own creative ability.
Same, I’m relatable to that. I hate doing art for more than 1 hour lol 😂 Imagine here are a list of art RU-vidrs: AndyMation Moriah Elizabeth Minori RU-vidrs who aren’t creative: THEJazyQueen (me) ON VIDEO
my favourite 5 were the first one whith the stick figures on the rain, because it's pretty emotional whith no context needed, and that's great. The golf one because it's pretty fun to watch, the Eclipse one because I didn't expect it to have so much tension and to be so long, and finally the last one whith the bird because the movements are great and the background detailed art is so cool to watch animated. Also I liked the one called Concentration, I like the skeleton guy design and the style of the animation
Aww that's awesome ! I did "The Flower Fadeth." It took me 5 hours a day in 7 days and 5 mental breakdowns to finish that haha. Had I known about the contest earlier I would have been able to submit the full idea in better quality too, but I only had a week. Oh well I'm glad you thought it was good enough to be featured ! I had honestly just thought about not sending it because i thought it wasn't good.
I am so impressed by the flip books shown today and can’t believe my “Happy Bird” was among the top 10! It’s been great that you’ve inspired so many to enjoy creating flip books. Such an honor and joy!
I made my first flipbook yesterday inspiried by your UFO flipbook for beginners :) Unfortunately, I was too late to send it to you. Also, I live in India, can I still send flipbooks to you? I'm 12 by the way.
Andy, my daughter was one of the top 10 winners! First, thank you for holding an awesome event, I’m sure everyone who participated had so much fun with their creations. My daughter, Samantha Arroyo, was one of the top 10 selected, but hasn’t been reached, maybe an email issue? Can you help us out?
I don't want to call any out because they were all so amazing but I love how to train your dragon and the one at the end with that dragon was gorgeous and so cute!!!! 🥰
This blows my mind! Props to all the talent! I made my first flip book in 1976,when I was 5!!! Made my last in 1993,when I was 22,I still have that one. I’m 51,and need to get back into this!!
So many great ones turned in, man a lot of creative people out there. My personal 2 favorite ones were super stool origins, loved how smoothed it panned into the building from a distance and how silly it was. The moon eclipse one with the space fight and the creepy creature they were fighting. 💯

Eclipse was such a good flip book that i can't even make it as a flipbook or a animation or a game [ I am a game dev and animator(kind of)) making flipbook making use to be my biggest hoppy in 2020 when i 1st discovered this channel ]
Aaahhh I remember watching the last one you did of these it was amazing! I would just like to thank Andy for looking at all of these flip books this was an amazing vid
Cuando era niño me encantaban estas cosas, y hasta hice yo alguno que otro. Era raro que algún libro de recibos o similar no acabase con alguna animación casera por detrás 🤣
Congrats to the winners! I also really enjoyed watching the flip books from the random draw, especially the “Elon Musk Goes to Mars” one. So glad Elon made it to Mars! 🚀👽
Daybreak is my favorite, or Eclipse. I would buy either flipbooks from the artists if I had a chance. The Eclipse one was made by a really talented artist. I wonder if anyone else wants to buy the flipbooks if they had a chance.
Thank you so much for this! I had no idea there was a FLIPBOOK FEST and will now encourage my students who are constantly making graphic novels/comics and stop-motion to look into making flipbooks. As a kid, I made thousands of flipbooks and these brought me so much joy! I have a 3rd grade student (loves drawing comics and stories) working on a color theory project and he is having a hard time deciding on his medium using only primary colors vs secondary colors in a bank robbery scenario. A FLIPBOOK would make perfect sense for him! Thank you!
This is awesome! Great works of art, flipbooks. I always love watching these videos, because even if I don't win, it's fun to see the cool flipbooks and feel happy for who did. Awesome!
I just want to say to andymation thanks for giving me encouragement to start a RU-vid channel to send in a flipbook even though it wasn't in this video but now you gave me the encouragement to win next year so thank you and congrats to all the winners
Wow these were so amazing!!! I can not wait to see the video with them all. Just incredible the talent and creativity everyone has, amazing you do this every year!!! 😁😍
