But, sellers ko packing ka loss bahut hota hai. agar koi item return hota hai to forward charge, reverse charge sab dena padta hai seller ko, halaki mobile phones ke naam par secured packaging le hi le hi lete hain, par other items jaise cloths wagairah mein, log na pasand aane par wapas kar dete hain, jisase loss hota hai
As an Ekart delivery boy, main khud agree karta hun ki 90% delivery boy ko OBD karne nahin ata. Galti unki bhi nahin hain kyunki wo jayada padhe likhe nahin hote hein. Yes, 3:38 hamare application mein sirf damages(outer physical damages) check karne ko kehte hein. 3:45 replacement unit par OBD apply nahin hoga. 4:28 Agar OBD fail hoti hai to COD mein amount instant refund hota hai aur prepaid mode mein within 48hrs.(In maximum cases 10hrs ke andar agar replacement unit ko cancel karte ho to) 1 saal ke delivery carrer mein 8-10 phones ka OBD fail kiya hun aur saare prepaid they. 8:02 main bhi is baat se agree karta hun.

Hi ... although I agree with most of your views, the most important feature /safeguard is the OTP ... this needs to be shared ONLY after you are happy with the unboxing and the product as such ... the delivery persons sometimes insist on asking for the OTP earlier but that is against Flipkart SOP ... better yet if you face any issue rrgarding the unboxing just don't share the OTP ... the delivery guy won't be able to finalise the delivery and will have to return the product ... which is when you can easily get the refund automatically.
This comment should be pinned. The delivery guys shouldn’t be allowed to ask for Otp that marks product accepted by the customer before opening the product. Once that is done, you are doomed. And they will pin the blame on you.

Last year 2023 Jan 22 ko mene ek redmi note 12 pro order Kiya tha Flipkart se It was open box delivery But usme the delivery partner opened the box neatly and also switched on the phone and handed it over to me😊
I faced the same issue when I bought a washing machine from Flipkart. They argue for doing open box delivery and when we insist they do it very badly. When we turned on the washing machine later on it was not working. Flipkart said it's not their responsibility as it was an open box delivery. Took 1.5 months follow-up to get the refund from the brand. No help from Flipkart at all. I have decided never to buy costly items from Flipkart now

Worst experience buying ac from flipkart🤬 the ac was defective and then when I asked flipkart to replace it. They said they can't do anything and asked me to ask service centre for replacement. When they sent defective piece in the first place why don't they replace.
I had similar experience with another expensive product, they gives excuses, they even wanted me to contact service centre and get defective product certificate from them before they can proceed with replacement, and they not even let me raise return request, saying flipkart is facing technical error for whole week, who believe this.

Yeah you are right bro recently Flipkart and Amazon started service centre replacement and providing certain time for replacement but service centres in certain areas process very late the time period for replacement gets elapsed and it becomes complete loss for customers.😢

Exactly issue in open box is very huge as in television 😔 if it is open box and executive came and delivered the tv and they don't give time to see tv properly and they also don't see if it's damaged or not and we only have to check by our own and how can one person can verify that it is damaged or no without any proper skills or steps .. And if that product is damaged and it was delivered in open box the god only can save . No one will take responsibility for replacement or refund or anything else..
This depends heavily on the dilivery person, I ordered a phone couple weeks ago, the person who does dilivery here is very patient, he is elderly and doesn't rush things. He opened the box very carefully, whole saying how people like to keep phone boxes. Then he asked if I want to take the screen cover off because people like to do that, then he placed everything on floor but kept the phone on the phone box and took photos, and then turned the phone on too. And before leaving he also reminded me that I can return the device in 7 days if there is any problem.

When I have ordered earbuds 2 pro or the Wildcraft laptop bagpack both the time I received fake and copied product. So what does it mean of the open box, should be make a customer focus policy and make changes in the current one. As of like the products are listed and verified by Flipkart this is their duty to deliver original or genuine product to customer, because of they are mentioning the F-Assured and still the delivered one is not matching the quality and genuine tag.
I bought laptop. No warrenty card and user manual in it. When checked in HP portal, warrenty expired 1 year ago. When asked Flipkart they said only hp can solve. When asked hp customer care, they asked me to send invoice. But then they said there is problem in invoice, asked Flipkart to send proper invoice. When informed about it to flipkart, they just took the complaint but 3 days gone issue jut showing processing. 7 days replacement already getting over in one day.

Amazon started it in India and Flipkart followed that later.. Amazon used to call it "Open Box Inspection".. I purchased a TV 2 years ago, They opened the package, checked physical damages, clicked a few pictures, and repacked the TV for the installation guy.. I found them a little more efficient even 2 years ago.. I never faced This Issue, where they damage the Box during the delivery process..

Jaise ki me Bhanjanagar se belong karta hunn yahan par har koi mobile, Laptop, pendrive ta service centre nahi hota hai. Isiliye hum jab bhi koi product buy karte hai from Amazon tab usko replacement karne ke liye 200 km jana or ana padta hai. Is Amazon ka service centre replacement ka video bhi kardene se acha hoga. Ap ye comment read karte ho to ap iska reply thoda karde tab me beleive hoga ki ap Comment read karte ho❤❤❤❤
I ordered a BLDC fan and a Pedestal fan in this month from Flipkart both have Open Box Delivery. My experience is great... that delivery guy helps me set up the Pedestal fan.

Please don't buy the 7 days service center replacement they will not work and when you contact flipkart customer care they will only say you to go to that company's service center the flipkart will not replace that item under any cost. The Flipkart delivery guy who "open box" ed my Mobile tried to take a picture of my Mobile's IMEI number when I stopped him. I didn't know they were 'supposed' to do that! There was a bit of a verbal exchange, but in the end I just did not allow him to take that picture.

OTP is supposed to be given after checking the product. I have ordered phone, AirPods, laptop ….everything was opened in front of me, checked after starting….no need to give the OTP if product is damaged. Seems proper research is not done

If you don't want to accept product in Open Box Delivery, don't share otp with delivery guy. This is a one stop solution if delivery guy mishandles the product, or if the product has issues.

I had ordered a Lenovo chromebook through open box delivery system. The laptop was opened by flipkart guy and I checked the laptop. Ultimately flipkart gave me Lenovo Customer cares number and I had to follow up with Lenovo for return and still i am waiting for the refund to come in my account. 1.5 months for resolution!!! This is not the first time I have faced such issues from flipkart. And when a new product has problem how is it customers responsibility to manage refund process?
Ma 2016 se Flipkart se shopping kr rha hu muje aaj tk koi issue nhi aya na koi product damage hua hai kai baar psnd na ane pr product return bhi kia hai uske under 12 hour mony return a jata hai kabi koi issue nhi hua
maine phone order kia amazon se... aur OBD to sahi tha... par maine ab dekha ki seal ke niche seal hai.. obd mein seal chaabi se fadi thi... isliye tedha medha kata hua hai... par uske niche jo seal hai... vo straight hai.. means vo cutter se kati gayi thi.. ye scam hua hai mere sath... already opened box mujhe new keh ke becha gya hai.. phone sahi hai.. par already opened box kyu dia gaya hai ye to galat hai
TBH hamara ek bhi geyser open box delivery se aaya...but usme delivery wale 2 aaye the aur unhone acche se open krke check krne ke baad hi OTP maanga ..ki hum satisfied hain product se
@Flipkart ke sath hui hain kuchh problems but wo resolve kr dete hain.. Lekin last year mene 1 mic order kiya tha @JioMart se but uska brand box already open & broken tha (product missing, uski jagah 1 pathar tha).. mene customer care se contact kiya pahle unhone wait krne ko kaha 24 hours fir 48 hours & aise krte karte 1 month tk main contact krta raha lst me unhone kaha na product denge naa hi refund jo krna hai kar lo. 😢
