Really appreciate your breaking all of this down. As a first year teacher I struggled with time. How were you able to keep the recap time so short a lot of my students felt rushed or frustrated when we had to move on or move forward in a topic if they weren't getting the previous stuff?
Great explanation! I teach 8th grade English and want to flip my classroom, but I feel like the lack of technology might hinder some of it. Hoping we truly become one to one this year.
Thank you! I think with English classes you could get away without technology! I also tell students my door is open before school for them to do notes in the morning before school if they need to!

They’re usually front and back, but I don’t go through all of the notes in the video, I leave a couple problems blank as a jumping off point for the next day! My next video will be a lesson planning breakdown so I’ll show it all in there!
What grade level do you primarily teach? I have a lot of unmotivated seniors in my courses (specifically my 'consumer' math), so I am scared if I try this no one will do the home based work/ watch the videos. It is something I would love to integrate.
I teach 9th! So it’s an adjustment for that level as well. The biggest thing wild he consistency with the start of the year. I honestly could see older grades liking it even more because it really gives less homework overall!
I have very good students and I think they will do everything at home and they will come to school nd they finish the lesson dn practices. What I suppose to do ? This is great video
