Good job! Hemming your jacket and skirt top with 1/4 inch seems could be achieve by inverting both then stiching the edges of the linings to the fabric of both skirt top then jacket bottom together. Using a 1/4 seam allowance will hide the seams when you reverse the jacket. and skirt your seams are hidden and your garments will have a neat look.
