If you walk around the island a bit, you'll find a door to a hidden basement type room with a surprise inside, I wont spoil it, but it's cute! Also, once you have finished you can go back to the house and change it up any way you want, no brown needed lol
The speckled tiles are supposed to go on the walls and floor in the kitchen, and the wooden panels are supposed to go on the floor in the loungeroom with painted walls.
There's nothing wrong with white. If you're doing it right you should have shelves and shit along the walls anyway. And art and stuff if you like decorations, but I'm a utilitarian.
I'm not sure if I like 2. Maybe I just need to get used to the new mechanics. I think the graphics were way better on 1. I do like the placement grid for the items and the ease of buying stuff. I kinda miss installing the toilet and shower plumbing and stuff though. This one's just a point and click thing. There's not much challenge in that.
Bro.. it's only a demo version. There are more features coming in the full game. I hated HF2 graphics, but now when I played the demo, I think it's much better than the first game

Wood furniture is great as long as it's authentic wood and is being taken care of. 99% of my parents' furniture is wood, and my mum has a thing for the colour brown, their place looks amazing with every new addition and it smells lovely.
The end screen said you can click continue in the main menu to get back to the house you flipped to make it even prettier. So you could probably design the house your self
Aa someone who loves their brown and wood colors, this indeed was too much brown. As a painter, just panting over wallpaper is such a sin. I still have nightmares of removing wallpaper from homes, it's not an easy process. Popcorn ceilings are just as bad.
One thing I never understood was furnishings. Who the hell buys a house with furniture? Who _sells_ a house with furniture? I've moved a lot over the years and you need to bring everything with you. Everything. And if its a house that usually includes major appliances except for the built-in ones like the oven and dishwasher.
When people flip homes they actually rent furniture to showcase the home and post pictures online. It helps to sell a house quicker to see the potential and to put possible home buyers in the mindset of what they can do with it. It is less of selling the house with the furniture and more of showcasing. Though there are examples of buying or renting places with furniture. I have seen luxury apartments that you rent that are fully furnished.

There are bidet addons to toilets, and there are separate fixtures that are basically a sink you sit on to wash your butt and associated bits. The thing he put on the roof was a separate fixture.,
