The FLIR T540sc is a portable uncooled microbolometer thermal imager which provides professional-grade resolution, temperature range, and lens options. Infrared resolution on this camera is 464x368 pixels and its standard temperature range goes up to a maximum of 1500C.
This thermal imaging camera is most often found in R&D labs and is typically used during the electronics prototyping process. It features a standard 25-degree lens (other lenses are available) and includes a special macro mode feature which lets you resolve down to 71 microns per pixel. This mode makes this camera ideal for close-up imaging of small electronic components.
Being a portable camera, the T540sc comes standard with 2 batteries (4-hour life each) and a dual bay charger. That said, it also includes a standard tripod mount so you can fix it in place if needed. This IR camera also comes with FLIR's powerful ResearchIR software suite which allows for advanced analysis of your thermal images.
