Flite Test - Joe Nall 2014 (Recap) 

I wish my Dad was still around to see you guys. One of his peeves was how the local guys took what essentially is a kid's hobby and hijacked it - turned it into something where you had to have the biggest and best and pro equipment. "No wonder kids turn to drugs" he'd lament. Fly time with Dad was a family affair. Whether he rented a Cessna and took us for a spin or out at the local flying field with his Goldberg Junior Falcon (single channel, Cox TD 0.49, silk and dope covering). As I got into my teens and dealt with the angst that comes with that age, my Dad and I could still be found side by side building on his work bench. Few words but there didn't need to be a whole lot. So blessings to you all! Dad would be so happy to see that a group of guys like Flite Test finally got it right.

These Flite Test recaps are long, but I love them. Very enjoyable. Would love to attend one of these events!

this was my fourth tip to Joe Nall and it was the best out of all of it. as always, the people were very friendly and kind. but what made this trip special was meeting you guys and talking with ya and talking out one of Alex's streemers with the Stryker and flying with yall. hope we meet again

Great video as usual, guys! It's a shame Dave isn't there though... I was thinking, you guys should build a tiny glider body just for a Mobius camera that could be towed behind a plane. I'd imagine it would give for an interesting, constant 3rd-person perspective of a plane in-flight.

Hi just wanted to say thank you again, what some beautiful planes, just outstanding workmanship, just to hang out at one of these events is awesome.

That event looked amazing.

Its amazing how I watched the Joe Nall 2013 video only last year. The year has gone so fast but Flitetest has grown so much so fast. Things come and go, David is gone :( We do have Alex now but he will never be the David we know and love. We still do love Alex though! But we still miss you David!

I would kill to see you guys deploy at least two smaller planes out of that cargo plane midflight. That would be a sight to behold. I am definitely going to consider driving down there next year. I just got into the hobby (Two nights ago, actually) and I'm already full steam ahead. That's because of you guys and the other RC RU-vidrs. Thanks for turning me on to this amazing hobby. I really needed something to replace video games as my weekend activity.

I'm impressed by all the excellent flying, not least the air2air from Alex's miniquad. Such stable footage whilst flying in all different attitudes and no gimbal. I reckon the quad could be sold as a complete kit with the setup you use, it is living proof of a great product (in the hands of a great pilot, of course)! Matthew

Wow i did not know that this event happens so close to me just an hour down the road. I am just getting into flying, I have had planes and helis for years but never got to fly them because life got in the way to find time to learn how to fly them but last year I was able to slow down from my busy life and start flying quadcopters and I am hooked so I started building my own quads and planes. A big thanks to all the flite test crew for the videos, I have learned a lot and you guys have inspired me. Thank you flite test keep up all the hard work and I hope to meet you guys at one of these events or even at the expo some day.

Great recap video. I liked to hear all about the actual event from each area, makes me really want to get out there (Road Trip!!!). I hope you guys do a video with Peter (Foam and Tape) regarding his HUGE cargo plane! That and maybe he can team up with Flite Test on future projects.
