I just put mine together, very impressed with mine. I like how all the components are separate, speed control, receiver, traditional servos, just like a larger plane. Much easier to repair. Great quality.

I love that it looks like standard servos in here... my gripe with my umx timber is with the rudder servo being embedded in the control board. Wemy should I have to replace a $60 part when only $5 or $10 of it isn't working... looking forward to the aura boards coming out. Think that's going to be huge.

Love the model and the platform. My only request s that on the next batch could you remove the rear rectangular windows on the aft fuselage and install the porthole? You have the window moulded in.

Josh, I know you had to stretch the nose because of CG, but It would look so so much better with a more scale nose length, while using a larger battery. I know there is more to this aerodynamically, but its something to think about for us scale lovers. I would be all over several of these if the nose section was not so far out of proportion. Congrats on your planes and channel growth.

I've got one of those BnF(horizon hobby?). The dihedral is a bit much. Makes it slower to roll and a bit less fun to fly than my XK DHC-2 at half the price. If they do make an Aero Commander, I hope it is tuned better.

Talking about $550 all in for the beginner, but once you have the radio, servos, battery and charger they can be used in other planes.

This plane actually does not fall under the new proposal because it's under the weight limit. Model planes have always come under FAA regulations and FCC regulations. That why joining groups such as AMA and NMPRA help. These groups lobby for all model aviation. www.modelaircraft.org/ www.nmpra.net/

Too many people ordering kits, accessories and paints etc online. Those people are the first to moan when the local shop goes under. The only time they set foot in there is for a bottle of paint or something small because they need it NOW!

We can’t wait to get ours! Lights are a great idea, and I just bought a new light kit. Can the foam be painted? What would you recommend for paint? Would love to give it a well-worn back country scheme. Nice clean video editing btw.

How strong are those magnets? I only ask because I had my first (electric!) deadstick, twas a bixler clone which ejected the canopy, into the propeller, shredding it to the hub :O May wish to make them magnets very very magnety :) Love the model though, top work Josh n co!

I would love to be able to buy this without the logos and have it shipped to floatplane.com in BC to celebrate their inauguration, looks like that blue strip is just about the right color. Don't know if it's legal to fly it there, but it would still look cool hanging from the ceiling. By the way, have you looked into posting your videos there for some extra income?

I've noticed that the "Kiwi" that has the RCModelReviews (ru-vid.com/show-UCQ2sg7vS7JkxKwtZuFZzn-g) and xjet (ru-vid.comabout) channels here on RU-vid has added a statement to the end of the xjet videos that says : "Model Aviation is not a crime." Perhaps Josh and company should consider adding that, or something similar, to the end of all Flight Test videos.

We have a stabilization alternative coming out next month. However it was important to have the plane fly well without a gyro.

I know you guys need to make money somehow but I can get a nice wl toys censsa 182 for 50 bucks but what I did see is that it can do tricks but don't you guys think it's a little over priced

To include a lot of the detail, features and accessories like floats, it definitely drove up cost. We wanted to be cost conscious but not sacrifice on experience. Have not tried the WL Toys products but if that better suits your budget and desired experience, then that’s great. We never want anyone to feel obligated to use our products to enjoy the hobby.

I own 2 of those planes. They are very good but this is much better. This is a hobby grade kit with much much better components. More powerful and It comes with floats! Way more versatile aircraft that will work with any radio out of the box (just add your receiver). But...you can add a flight controller, fpv, LEDs...the true value is that this is coming from Ohio.

For 120 bucks I better buy something else, Micro´s are generally speaking way too expensive in comparison to a 1-1,5metre glider.

Micros aren’t for everyone and that’s okay. But the people who benefit from them really do love them. We have more park sized airplanes coming out this year.

@@FliteTest I wonder if you ever wanna tackle the High-Quality 2-2,5 metre E-Glider since the Mainmanuctories Graupner and Robbe) here in Germany are bankrupt and left a big vaccum aka oppurtunity. The only companys who still serve that kind of audience are Arthobby and Reichard CZ. Btw: I have never seen an RTF Micro in the air here in germany, all I have seen were Scratchbuilt but I guess thats Europe its just different. Question: Why do you think are Micros soo popular in the U.S ?
