Quick and Easy Halloween floating head illusion body paint tutorial - here I'll show you this incredibly effective, quick, simple and super easy body paint tutorial! It's so easy to get the hang of and you can't go wrong with this simple yet unusual and oddly effective scary Halloween look! you can find all the items I used here in most shops around Halloween in the Halloween section (makeup and paints), any craft store or online for good prices, or you could use eyeliners as an alternative!
Makeup used-
- black gel eye liner
- black face/body paint
- white face/body paint
Brushes used-
- foundation brush
- eye shadow brushes
- eyeliner brushes
The Steps:
- do your normal every day makeup as you usually would.
... now for the fun part....
- draw an oval on your neck for the 'opening' in black gel eye liner.
- fill in the circle with black face/body paint.
- leave a 1cm gap above the circle and fill in your upper neck as I did, remembering to bring the paint around to the back of your neck.
- neaten up any mistakes.
- with a very small brush, highlight areas as I did in white paint to make them stand out.
- mix some white paint with the black to create a light grey and use that to create a tunnel or tube effect in the gap as shown, this makes it much more realistic.
- yet again, neaten things up and use black to 'deepen' the hole
- set with translucent powder if necessary to take away some shine.
- now you're done!
