Flood Cuts Off Kano-Maiduguri Highway in Katagum Local Government Area of Bauchi State 

Heavy rains have caused a large crater to form in the middle of the road connecting Kano to Maiduguri, especially between Malori and Guskuri villages in Bauchi State. This flood damage has forced drivers to find other routes to continue their journeys.
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed visited the area to see the damage firsthand and emphasized the road's importance as a key link between Nigeria's Northwest and Northeast regions. He has called on the Federal Government to quickly repair the road to ensure the smooth transportation of goods and services for the benefit of the people.
