Good SOP. Please note that you may also need to check for CO Carbon monoxide which is lethal..more than CO2. Keep exploring!

It's CO2 in the bottles and at biggest vessels there are around 800 of them...you have to make sure there's no leakage and activate the CO2 room ventilation too , otherwise CO2 room can become a bad trap

I'm a retired commercial and industrial union electrician. I have dried out plenty of circuit boards and parts that have been waterlogged. I have never had to deal with saltwater. I suppose it creates more problems than freshwater.

With the safetec SDS-48 system, you can suck air out of the cargo holds to detect smoke in this air. And you can use the same pipe system to blow CO2 into the cargo holds to extinguish a fire.
