I hate flooding. It’s so gross. So glad I moved away from south Florida. I bought a house far away from canals and lakes. I didn’t want to be near any water.
Thank you Glenna for correcting Louie, 20+" rainstorms do happen every 8-12 years especially around Hallandale where I lived for 17 years. With an average elevation of 8 feet and less open space for the water to be absorbed it will always flood.
Guess the insurance companies are going to have cut back on the Starbucks and avocado toast. Sure the bootstrappy residents of Florida wouldn't come begging for a federal bailout now would they
California was once the most disaster prone state in the nation. Now Texas and Florida are vying for the title! Inflated housing values and high insurance costs are the least of these states problems.
Re Flood severity "deniers": 🌊 The depth varies with location ... PLUS there's more to come: more rains, saturated root balls of trees that will fall, black mold in drywall, rising insurance rates, displaced wildlife (incl reptiles in flood water), health consequences for people that 1st responders can't help in time &/or whose necessary medical devices require electricity to run, Etc., Etc..
Climate crisis resilience needs to include elevated evacuation routes (& include occasional islands for gas stations, ideally with helipads for emergency medical evacs)!
There is salvation in no one else other than Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. So whichever denomination teaches to pray to Mother Mary or to any so called saints doesn't belong to true church. Speak boldly the truth,
Thank you keep posting the world in need of the message many that are unsaved need to turn to JESUS CHRIST for repentance and accept him as their LORD and Savior before it's too late thanks again brother GOD bless you
