True but that is because of the younger generations and the shit that radiostations are playing. Back in the day (the nineties) even Sepultura was in the Dutch top 40! Veronica wasn't a commercial radiostation and they even had 'Roots' from Sepultura as their 'Alarmschijf'. 'Alarmschijf' was a new record that they like to promote for a week. I'm getting old, but things like that was way better than we have today (a lot of radiostations, playing the same records).

How is it possible that country which has such amazing singers like Floor, Simone Simons, Sharon den Adel, Anneke van Giersbergen (and at the same time bands where these ladies sing in) don't appreciate metal music?

I prefer the version on Sing Meinen Song, just because she attacks the last bit a bit more and goes a bit rougher but that’s just my personal taste. This version is definitely amazing!

there's probably hundreds of live performances from Floor and NW that is on par with Wacken 2013. Unfortunately most of them are captured by mobile phones or totally off mixing.

Maybe she wants to get a version where the audio is a bit more stable. This one is fine, but it could be technically better. Some compressor stuff going on.

Maybe because she was drowning in the low notes of the beginning and she couldn't hit them; I don't think she's proud of her performance here

In the Netherlands we have Veterans Day every year to honor the veterans. It was the wish of the female veteran that Floor could sing for her. And Floor just does that.

@@pietkeizer5216 Really? She requested/asked for floor specifically? I thought floor was just asked to sing in general or something. I don't speak dutch so idk what they said leading up to the song. But the woman does mouth "wow" several times, so it makes sense she asked for her/knew about floor.

The sound quality is poor here... there are kinda clicks or sound interruptions... big dislike... But I love Floor! She's outstanding and godlike!
