Perfect Swedish, perfect English, perfect German, perfect Dutch, sing a song in Finnish, Spanish and what more? This woman has an extreme language talent. So amazing. Really enjoyed her speaking Swedish here. She is the true wonder-woman.
you forgot singing in italian! to be fair you dont have to speak the language 100% to sing a song in it , but obviousbly doing it well requires some ability in it!, i am sure she could sing japanese if you gave her 4 weeks practise!
I love her deeply and I admire her so much. Just for the record, her Spanish is not great (it's my native language) but everytime I listen to her singing Qué Se Siente it melts my heart 😍 She just gives everything she has always
My guess is that she is very good at "learning by ear" from singing so much different stuff over the years. Essentially hearing a word and then know how to say it by her own voice. For most people you would hear one thing and say it in a different way.
These are literally dialects descended from one common language. Except for Finnish. And even if a person speaks urdu, chinese, Turkish, swahili and Hungarian all at the same time, still nothing impressive. Most probably the person was privileged enough to live in those countries or learn them in the comfort of their homes. While so many people are homeless throughout their lives and busy just surviving, having one to no meals a day and as a result not even speaking their own language properly due to the lack of education and energy to get educated.
Wonderful personality indeed. What makes her easier to learn Swedish is that the Dutch language is close to English, German and the Nordic languages, excluding Finnish. She is such a lovely person, good humour, humble also.
@@Northman-from-the-North Finnish, Sami and Estonian are members of Uralic language family, Finnic subcategory whereas Nordic languages, Dutch and German are germanic language. So not related in any way. Loan words obviously go back and forth but that's about it.
@@Spugedelia77 Its a gradual learning process, she is still learning the language and does understand it better than before . It was the same with her Swedish a few years ago
@@Spugedelia77 She said she did learn spoken Finnish, but gave up on the grammar, because she always spoke English or Swedish with her new boyfriend / husband
@@rientsdijkstra4266 I've heard Floor singing in Finnish and it didn't sound like someone who speaks Finnish singing. Don't get me wrong, I love Floor, but that people are trying to convince me, that Floor can speak Finnish is hilarious. She can't.
When Floor mentions about having to beat around the bush or circle around the subject, that is exactly what my Belgian wife says about us Scots, and yes the Dutch are very outgoing and open, I have a few Dutch friends and that's how I would describe them, oh and they don't hold back in their opinions either - usually being the loudest in the room too 😉
I really wonder how she managed to get multiple Swedish accents, usually people only have one or two. But I have to say, she is pretty damn good at Swedish! On some parts you can't even hear that she is not a native speaker, that takes quite a bit of skill considering how few years she has been here.
If you're not a complete imb ecile and don't have to worry about your health and bills and other problems, you'd pick up any language within a year or two of living in a country of your target language
She sounds fluent and speaks with ease.. I feel like a total bum now. I have a dutch parent and she's learned more Swedish in half the time than I have Dutch. Obviously singing helps with cadence of a language but she's got a fantastic brain on top of all that vocal talent.
Her face is HUGE and larger than life lol of course she has a huge brain in that ginormous skull. Go move to the Netherlands and you'll pick up that language in no time. Shouldn't be too complicated for a European labour aristocrat
Floor must have a gigantic brain to be able to learn so many languages (as an adult), and to be able to learn an extremely difficult play list for Nightwish in just a few hours! She is truly amazing!

Floor, du borde ju göra det en gång på svensk tv, du pratar jättebra på svenska! Jag ska uppskatta det om du gör det. Mycket intressant att höra vad dina upplevelser är med finskar och svenskar och vad som hände när du flyttade till Norden.
Wait a second. Isn't this a Finnish show? Were they speaking Swedish too with her? Cause I heard them pronounce some Finnish but then again I know nothing. I am so confused xD
This is from Finnish TV and targeted to Swedish speaking Finns. Swedish is also an official language in Finland. They speak mostly Swedish and few words Finnish in this interview.
Finland was part of sweden for 700 years, so its bilingual country having both finnish and swedish be official languages, both are mandatory to learn at school for everybody. It depends on region and education level if any Finn actually does speak swedish though.
