Kia is a CLASS ACT, very humble great human being. I played in a $5-$10 game with him for 4 years in Melbourne Florida 2008-2012. I've been living in Nicaragua the past 10 years. I miss our group of regulars at Melbourne Greyhound Park but LOVE living in Nicaragua. I learned ALOT from Kia about tournament poker and he's a very aggressive cash player. MUCH RESPECT for my good friend.

@@Ghostface9929 poker players often look at their cards multiple times in a hand. It's as if they forgot what they have but they're likely running scenarios in their head and want to verify the hand they have. In this case when Kia looked at his cards, Dwyte asked him a smart ass question, as to whether or not the cards changed from what he was originally dealt.
Man I forgot how intense poker is lol. I remember the college days... a fat bag of coke , 2 bottles of whiskey , some sparkling water and non stop playing until the sun comes up. We would split the pot in the end if we couldn't finish when the sun came up. And then be dead for 3 days and repeat.
@@counterthirty it's not that confusing once you learned the 'combos' of the cards. Like straight , flush, pair, triples etc. The rest of it, is just about baiting/lying your opponents into the trap for the gain. Hence is why this is called as Poker because you are literally have to do 'Poker face' to trick someone.
Most times it amazes me greatly the way I move from an average lifestyle to earning over 65k per month, utter shock is the word, I have understood a lot in the past few years to doubt that opportunities abound in the financial markets, The only thing is to know where to focus
@@olympiaweitze7567 Anyways not actually, what I know about trading almost borders on zilch lol. I make huge profits no my investment since I started trading with Richard Scote.
Just in case you need context for the "I'm not celebrating" line by Dwyte...earlier he was a 9:1 favorite to win the hand after the flop and started celebrating like he'd already won it...and his opponent hit runner-runner to double up through him.
Never know what's gonna happen down at the river when you're playing heads up poker and he pushes all in. Just as long as one gulps in disbelief even if it's a flop
@@superwario2741 Can't be a wimp if you are willing to put up such money that takes balls, you would probably lose your mind if you lost 1k yet alone millions

@@dbrowninc Yh sounds like something a privileged suburban kid would say cause no one who understands what hard work is really like talks that way, it humbles even the most arrogant people, so he hasn't gotten his humble pie yet, but he will get it one way or another unless he is lucky enough to have parents who have set him up for life then he will be a privileged asswipe for the rest of his life.
I would like to see these games played where nobody is allowed to wear darkened lens glasses and hats/visors of any type. They hide their ‘tell’, resulting in an uneven game.
I like how civilized it is, the people betting against each other but are still friendly and respectful to each other. That’s dope. I know nothing about poker
@@mrspeaker89 if he lives say another 50 years that equals 60k per year even without getting interest or other sort of investment...heck he can even save 500k in his bank as an emergency health issue and still be able to spend 50k per year, is that not enough?
Your comment makes no sense buddy… the chips in play DO NOT change lol I’m sure his opponent knows how many chips he has and the difference is what pralad has 🤦🏻♂️ wow and 21 people liked this post?
Mike Sexton would have been a great announcer for the scene in Caddy Shack when Bill Murray is doing the Masters bit. "It's a Cinderella Story. Outta nowhere. A former greenskeeper, now, about to become the Masters champion".
Lolz, they're human as well. Did you see the guy that flopped the house full of 6s and 3s? When it came down trips he almost thumped the table in excitement, and quickly turned it into a check 😂 Sidenote I used to play with a guy who acted like he had an electric shock anytime he had an ace. Nobody would watch the cards falling, we'd all be watching him! 🤣🤣
Played poker 1st time in Red dead redemption 2 .. watched yesterday 1st random poker vid suggested by youtube and now i cannot stop + i have no idea wats going on.
I don't play poker much but the decisions by these players seem non-optimal. Why would you ever reraise with the 2nd best hand? The only person who's going to call is someone who has a better hand.
Even though he was wrong on his math, I'm still impressed with how close it was by being off just 1%. He came up with that while I was still wondering what cards the other dude needed. lol
There's a simple formula that poker players know for calculating chances to win when they know the cards at play. Its close, but not 100% and not nearly as difficult as it seems. 4 outs with 1 card to come...you multiply the # of outs (4) by 2...so you get 8%. I honestly don't know where that extra 1% is coming from if someone knows better plz let me know.
@@wDawks So he has 4 outs. There are 52 cards in the deck. You see a total of 8 cards; your hand, the opponent's, and the board. So you take the 4 outs and divide it by 52-8 (total cards in deck minus cards known) which equals about 9%.
It's best 5 cards including what's on the table, as the board.paired and they had trips, the best 5 cards was the 6's plus pair of 3's. Therefore yes it did not matter
