Vlog #1 was a losing session. Your honesty earned my sub. I wish you the best. Get a coach if you don't have one and post at least once a week. GTO is great to know, but it's relevance is so limited at $1/$2 live. Exploitative is how you crush live low limit....and of course bankroll management.
your analysis of hands based off of gto vs what their hands “should” be needs to be adjusted to the stake and player type not just what GTO is for 9 handed , as soon as you get a read at the table that people arnt playing anywhere near GTO you need to to throw it out the window and play GOOD poker GTO isnt good poker its Safe Poker , yes it works long term over hundreds of thousands of hands but for 1/2 and vs this player type Exploitative poker is what will make you Crush the table , GTO will tell you to call in spots where on a 1/2 table its 1000% a fold therefore it’s useless for alot of situations at this stake
Your assumptions that any players at $1/2 live in the US are playing anywhere near optimal poker is wildly optimistic. Even at microstakes on Stars where a lot more players are playing better than here, they're not playing near gto frequencies. Don't be too surprised at anything!
I can’t believe you folded 910s getting those pot odds and for only $115 more. The guy wasn’t playing well, he was playing terribly, he just got lucky to value bet what was basically a bluff catcher and get you off a better hand.
Yeah, he definitely played that hand super weird, and I felt he was only on full houses there when he doesn't check raise flop and did it on the turn pairing card. I do have insane pot odds, and I'll be calling in the future.
@@HoloPoker you made a high level gold against a fish. Against a lot of players this would be a good fold. I also understand your reasoning. In this spot though I think you have to just close your eyes and pay.
