We took a day trip to Florence from Milan via high speed train. With only 6 hours to explore, what to eat and see? We think we did pretty good.

You guys made it to Florence! One of my favorite cities in the world! The food, the shopping, and the ART. It’s the best for Italian Renaissance art! There is a great view across river that overlooks entire city. Florence is at least three days! Go in Fall to avoid crowds!

Florence is one of my places in Italy. Found some wonderful places to eat, especially where the locals eat. Next time spend a few days in Florence to explore the duomo's and museum, and take the public bus : its reasonable and easy to navigate and easy to among the locals.

Looks like you had s fabulous time! You're inspiring me to take a trip to Italy! Seems like prices are reasonable. One thing I kept saying to you through the videos was regarding the bolongese sauce you ordered more than once. Lisa kept saying "I don't really taste the tomato." "There isn't much of a tomato taste". Bolognese sauce is not a tomato sauce. It's meat that's slowly cooked with automatics and wine, lots of wine and some tomato paste.

Two words “Fantastic Video” back in 2005. My sister, and a couple of her friends and I went on a two week Mediterranean cruise and one of our ports of call was Florence and I must say I fell in love with Italy specifically, Venice, and I have not gone back there yet but I love Italy.

We came to Florence last September, we loved it so much we are back to celebrate our 29th Anniversary!!! I loved your video! We did very similar things. FYI my husband is in a wheelchair. We didn't have to have tickets they let us in for free through the exits. Next time you guys go make sure to see the statue on David!! This time we are going into the wine country area of Tuscany🎉🎉🎉🎉. Thank you for the lunch recommendation we may taxi over there today!! My sleep is a little off from jet lag so I'm watching your video. PERFECT TIMING THANKS!!! If you get a chance, in Milano go see The Last Supper it's the original painting on the wall in a church...

Went to Florence on a day trip from La Spezia. Friends climbed to the top of the Duomo…ooof it wasn’t easy according to them! Beautiful city! I LOVE black pepper! The pasta! 😂

It’s the birthplace of Florence nightingale, founder of nursing. Try to visit the David statue someday. I bought an orange color wallet in Florence with initials engraved. Ate a lot of pasta, too! Thanks Bill and Lisa! ❤

❤ Firenze!!! Pasta is unreal...real al dente.....kind of slightly firmer than normal. Should have gotten the whole craft...🍷🍷🍷🍷. Psss. there is no elevator in the Duomo....its all stairs😮 and Carnevale🥳🥳 was in Feb if memory serves correctly?? Another awesome video guys!!
