Thank you for this tour using your youthful legs, mine at 72 years old are a little banged up but my eyes enjoyed every mile. God bless beautiful Italy.....
Hey Tony, I'm glad you could join me on the walk. By the end of the day I am pretty dang tired. :)..especially walking around Florence. The last part was up hill to that look out. I took a taxi back to my hotel. I couldn't walk any more. :)
Incredible video caminar en Florencio de Nuevo y poder caminar otra fez por sus Calles, estuve hace dos anios y es impossible caminar todo en varios Dias, gracias!,
stumbled on this video randomly (it was in my recommended videos) a few months after visiting Florence, looked up at 54:30 and saw me and my family walking! What a crazy coincidence! Beautiful vid btw :)
The architectural art of the Renaissance can be seen everywhere narrating the splendid and long-standing Italian civilization! 35℃ high temperature, thank you for your hard work!
Thank you for the raw, un-cut long climb to the top of the tower! It brought back all those claustrophobic but fun moments of that staircase! Rewarding views indeed! Great memories!
@@ProWalks I am an Italian teacher and have shared these videos with my students during this quarentine. Greetings from San Francisco,CA. The only question I have for you is why oh why did you film this during high tourism season!?
Hi Lynn, well...I'm a high school teacher and coach so I just have to film when I can. I had gone to Florence in May the year before to film and it was so crowded and there was so much construction, I just turned around and went home. Anyway, this was just my next opportunity to go. I coach a Spring sport.
Thank you so much!!! It is so nice how you film! It is like we are the ones who walk and climb the stairs and enjoy the views. With this times of Corvid 19 at home , for us the older people is a wave of fresh air and joy! Thanks again and be blessed!
Really fantastic ! It was like I was re-living my stay in Florence, hearing the Martins-horn of the police cars, etc. the sound quality is so good and the videography is so well done. 5 stars !!!
Great video i have visited Florence twice in the last 5 years and when i leave there i always want to go back what a beautiful city and what a great video. Thank you for the walking tour brings back so many wonderful memories of my time spent in Florence.
As far as I know you very much covered all of the areas I visited.. Thank you again for a really good quality video. And the view of Florence from the hill at the end is spectacular. Keep up the good work .Look forward to watching some more pro walk videos this week..

@@marcorodrigues8303 Hi! When i took my last vacation to Italy we stopped in a hotel in Arezzo another beautiful city in Tuscany. We only got to spend one day in Florence during our vacation Which was a pity because it is such a beautiful city and i would have loved to have stopped there for at least 3 days.We were on a guided tour during our stay in Italy we spent 5 days in Tuscany and visited Sienna and Florence .Then we travelled down to Rome and spent 3 days in Rome before flying back to the UK.This year with the coronavirus outbreak and the uncertainty of travelling anywhere in the world i've opted for staying at home. But one day in the future i will certainly be returning to Florence ,also i would love to go back to Sorrento and the beautiful Amalfi coast.
Absolutely fantastic, as I have no internet I have to download your videos when I have access to a connection, this one was 33gb but worth it! 3 hour walk in 35 degrees! You should get a medal for that!
Thanks for sharing the climb up the campanile it was great to see for people like myself who are unable to climb many stairs Florence does not have a lot of elevator service in the old city 💕
I was in Florence one year ago. It was my dream vacation, which I saved $ for 9 years. I stayed in an apt about 100 meters from the Duomo. Thank you for this video. It is so well done. I cannot thank you enough. New subbie.
Hey, that's great! I'm glad you had a good trip. Did you get a chance to see anything else beside Florence? I feel very blessed to be living here. I save up and finally took a trip here in 2010...then a few years later I got a job here.
Thank you so much 👍🏼👏I went 2006 lost most my photos n video also in Winter time and got lost too 😅after watching your video just like I'm back that time and got back my memories thank you 🙏🙏🙏🌻😻
Wow! There are so many tourists that it's impossible to see the real Italians and Florentines ... In the whole video I only heard one person speak in Italian (and she didn't have a Tuscan accent, so she probably wasn't from that area of Italy), all the others were foreigners , living in that city must be a nightmare ... :(
Not at all. I love living in Florence. My quarter, San Frediano (from 1:35:00 to 1:50:00), is really a beautiful place to live in. Peaceful and rich of activities, quiet but not dead. You can meet people from all over the world eating or drinking coffe next to you, but you also can deal with other "florentines", if you prefer. The huge amount of tourists increases the number of restaurants and bars, but keeps untouched other kind of services and the "quarter life". You can find whatever you want, within few steps. You can live without a car. I would not change that with no other place i know on earth.
Excellent walk through this great looking city. Amazing that its 3 hours, great audio as well. Do you ever have issues with the microphones falling out of your ears?
Ciao, grazie per video! Mi chiamo Olga. Sono russa, abita a Vladivostok. Ma quando era a Ferenze, mi sono sento come a casa. Ferenze è bellessma citta!
All the Italian towns and cities are theatre stages, filled with exquisite scenery, all waiting for the play to begin. But instead of the actors, there are only all sorts of people running to and fro....
Amazing walk tour video. It's almost like being there. I've been to Florence but I didn't do it this thorough, like getting inside St John Baptistry or climbing that bell tower all the way to the top to get a full glimpse of the city. I love your work! Thank you very much!
Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, it can be difficult to make all those things happen during a short visit. I was just there to walk, walk, walk. :) In and out. Most people take their time to look at each site for a while. I do too...just not on this visit. :)
Last year I visited Rome for the first time and later returned for a second visit later in the year. I found your Walking Tour videos of Rome brilliant and really helpful. In a couple of weeks time I am going to Florence for the first time and once again, this video is going to really help. Thanks for posting such brilliant videos.
Maravilloso recorrido!!
I don't know how you walk, so steady, through those narrow streets with all the crazy drivers flying by! Your videos are amazing Thank You for your walks and your sharing! Only thing that is missing is the smell!
p. f. May i ask you an area that can provide cheap local food as i’m planning to go next year? Like in walking distance from the square. I went to italy last year and i don’t want to be charged with tourist costs like i had experienced.
@@ah3626 if you want something cheap, fast to eat on the walk, and very tasty, I highly suggest you to go to *"All'Antico Vinaio".* There is literally a *"food insider"* video on it! It is right behind the Palazzo Vecchio, and one of those schiacciate (sandwiches) only cost 5€. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZyZh_FIhGlU.html Or you can try some smaller narrow streets: usually, they are cheaper than those in front of a major touristic attraction. There is a general golden rule: *usually, the farther from the historical center and main tourist attractions, the cheaper it is.* My suggestion is: *-book an hotel just outside the historical center* (it will be cheaper and you'll get cheap food nearby. moreover, just take the bus and in 3-4 minutes you'll be in the historic center) *-eat nearby the hotel* if you want something cheap, but still delicious, to eat (for example, a pizza outside the historical center is around 5€, a pizza in the historical center can even be 10-15 €, however both will have the same quality more or less) *-or just eat in a restaurant or trattoria in one of the smaller streets* of the historic center if you want to eat there.
@@ah3626 public transports are efficient (though sometimes late xD) in Italy. So use them as much as you can, as in many historical centers cars are forbidden (Florence's historical center included).

A wonderful video for my armchair viewing at home. Thank you so much for this self explained visual tour. I love Florence as I had been there twice, but did not have the opportunity to see all of this visual exposure. 👍😊
I can't go to Florence due to the coronavirus though I crave to be there so badly. Well, give me some bread, meats, cheese, and grapes- this will have to do.
TO ALL THOSE WHO COME NEW ON THIS CHANNEL YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED BUT ON THE CONTRARY AMAZED BY THIS TYPE OF VIDEO A CAREFUL WORK AND A GREAT PERFORMANCE IN THE RECORDING LEVEL OF THIS FILM AND OTHER THANKS AGAIN. NALIA FROM BELGIUM. oMAGNIFICENT VIDEO J ADORE A BIG THANKS TO THE PRECIOUS WORK YOU DO US TO FILM I PULL MY HATTHANK YOU.
thanks for the amazing tour. i lived there for about 4 months (actually when this was filmed!) studying illustration with my school and i yearn to go back.
It was nice to relive the very familiar sights we enjoyed during our visits in 2007 and 2008. I see the same apartment we rented both times which faced the Duomo and the Baptistery. Italy is a beautiful country and Florence is a treasure. Thank you for your beautiful footage which will give me the chance to re-visit, if only virtually. I will always treasure the wonderful memories of that lovely city.
Your videos are the best, as usual. But I have to ask a tech question if you don't mind: do you use the Hero 7's image stabilization together with the EVO Gimbal?
Hey thanks Mr. J, No, I usually don't use the Gopro's stabilization with the gimbal. The Gopro will crop the image a bit which means it won't look as clear on a big 4K TV so I keep it off and just use the gimbal so the video will be as clear as possible.
