Florence Price - Piano Sonata in E minor [with score] 

I know this is a year old but for anyone else wondering, Schirmer's sells it. Although admittedly, my copy has a few minor errors in the transcription.

Not surprising since she was black and the daughter of an African-American dentist. There is a strong thread of spiritual-like motifs through her music, and also echoes of MacDowell and the "New World" symphony of Dvorak. I have been looking at this Sonata (as a not very accomplished amateur) and find it very appealing and mostly fun to play. There's nothing revolutionary about it and the harmonic language is old-fashioned for when it was composed, but Price deploys it well.
