Florida’s Largest & Forgotten Underground Roadside Attraction - Florida Caverns State Park - Full Tour! I’ve always wanted to do this! Florida “freaking” Caverns in Mariana, Florida! Much Below! #roadsideattractions #florida #cave
❤ Enjoyed the video...I appreciate how you take us on so many Adventures with you. Your videos are the highlight of my day... The cave was really cool....but caves always make me think of that movie "The Descent" lol.... Have a blessed day ..😊🦩🦩
Jay way back in the 80s my wife and I went through the Florida Caverns cave. We took the tour into the cave. Everything looks so different now than I remember it. It certainly wasn't $15 to take the tour back then. Today I wouldn't be able to go through the cave. I tried to go through the cave tour at Ruby Falls and I couldn't do it. When we got down the elevator and walked to the gathering area, I started feeling anxiety hit me and I knew I had to get out. The tour guide girl got me around to the elevator and back up to the top. I waited up top outside for my daughter to walk the tour.
Yay! Florida back roads.Everyone thinks of Florida, beaches and theme parks. So much more. Love that you highlight beautiful and abandoned Florida places.
I have lived in Marianna all my life and have been in the caves so many times. It’s awesome to see people travel to our small town to visit. And just to note caverns use to be loaded with more trees but hurricane Michael took a hit on them.
Reminded me of the Lehman Caves at Great Basin National Park in Nevada. Cave bacon...who knew? Another awesome video! Thanks, Jay! Safe travels to you, always!
Absolutely love to explore caves. I have been to several, but I have not been to the ones in Florida. I have been to a lot in Alabama and Tennessee and Virginia. They are beautiful in a spooky way.
This is wonderful Jay! We have the Oregon Caves here in Oregon. It's so similar but yet different! My husband is a caver too. Come on over and we will take you! Wonderful video! Thanks so much!!!❤
You have a great life, with all the adventures and traveling you are able to do!! Thank you for taking us along!! You’re awesome, and you are loved!! ❤
Great cave tour! I have been in lots of caves and this was top notch. I think Luray Caverns is my fav. I don't live all that far from Mammoth Cave now but can't leave my hubby alone (disabled) for that long a trip. We are right down the road from Squire Boone Caverns and Indiana Caverns, which I have been to. When we lived in Utah, I toured Mt. Timpanogos Cave and that was the hardest because you had to hike up the mountain to get to the cave and you were worn out.
HEY,.. TAMPA JAY Well man just Wanted to let you know how much That I've been Enjoying Your Videos love the Back road and abandon places The caves are Really awesome Also Ok Jay please Take care and be Safe on all Your Travels !!!
It was so beautiful in the Florida Cavern. WOW!! That old light on the ceiling is ALMOST as old as I am. So interesting... I do notice you like to push buttons, as do my great grandson. 😂. I am originally from Bardstown Ky and we went to the caves, lakes and parks. My Dad would tell that it was known Native Americans or outlaws could ride their horses into the Horse Cave to hide. Looking forward to seeing the next video. 🤗. Stay safe
Lived my whole life in Orlando/Seminole county but last year we moved up here to Defuniak Springs and it’s beautiful up here! The beaches obviously but also the springs, rivers and lakes all way more clear than central FL. Totally correct in it basically being southern AL 😂 Great video, been wanting to check the caverns out, much ahead!
As a local always loved the caverns .I have always loved the town of Marianna but it does have a dark history as well .Very strange that a place can have such natural beauty but so much human caused heartache, horror and be home to one of the most tragic stories in Florida history .I am of course talking about the infamous Dozier School For Boys .The two things Marianna is best known for beyond any doubt .Though tragic a place that should never be forgotten .RIP to all those suffered and died horribly and prayers for those still dealing with the horrors that happened there .
I think the statue had an ax 4 them there giant gators at the time!😳 interesting tour, stay away from the water Jay! as always thx 4 taking us all along on your under world adventure
Love your videos!! If you ever feel like going even more west, check out Ponce de Leon and Vortex Springs FL. Awesome on a hot summer day!! The spring is cold and clear, and is said to be the "real" fountain of youth...Looking to much ahead!!!
Your crazy as H E double LL! Lol! That tunnel cave look just like the one on the movie IT! Nope not today Satan...plus cave spiders...nope!! Lmao! I was holding my breath watching!! Now the guided tour maybe cause it had lights and roomy! Thanks for the video!!
Every cave, when you get to the center, they always turn off the lights so ya can experience real darkness. I've only gone inside Meramec Caverns in Missouri. But it sure was dark. Thanks TJ
This washer is a pretty cool, place to stay with great perks for the price point. And once you become diamond, as you know, you get upgraded to the cool rooms, the best best western is the grand best western and Gainesville. It’s more like the Hilton. Hey, next time you’re in the area up there you’ve got to stay at Wakulla Lodge. Visit Falling Waters, lots of old churches in that area too. Keep up the good work I love your off-road places.
I’ve been to Luray Caverns in Virginia and also Ruby Falls in Tennessee and this is comparable to those, next time I’m riding through the panhandle I’ll definitely stop with my family!
That cave you was walking through was so cool 😎 and the blue 💙 and red was awesome thanks for taking us with you Tampa Jay I enjoyed watching your video can't wait to watch your next video 😀 love ❤️ from Michelle over here in Nottingham in England ♥️ 😊😅😂❤
Thanks for covering this…Always wanted to go, but sadly, my brother passed before we had the chance. We had plans & hopes to, so at least now I’ve experienced it thru your eyes & lens…Thanks Again!!
If you ever end up going to the baseball hall of fame go to Howe Caverns which is an hour from Cooperstown they have a boat in the cave that takes you through part of the way.
I never knew they had caverns like this in Florida! I wonder if they teach tour guides to use the inflections in their voice like this guy does and when that started to be a thing.
Wow the caves are nice. Jay, I've only been watching your videos for about a year. I'm from central Florida (Hardee, South Polk). I was wondering if you've done a video on Highlands Hammock State Park in Sebring? If you have, I'll search through your older videos.
Even where. BUSH'S The huge factory and it's They have a restaurant they have different. How they make the beans. It's huge they have I'm a movie how it all begins. You even get pictures of duke the dog. And they show all kinds of stuff. They have gift shops. Old towns it's really cool. I know you would love this place.
