Florida will be improved in 2024 but the most brutal schedule I have seen in a while will be the reason why the Gators won't make a bowl game for the third straight season.. I have Florida at either 4-8 or 5-7 this season!!! They have Miami and UCF in non conference... Then they have Texas A&M, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, LSU and Ole Miss in conference and end the season in Tallahassee against Florida State... I have Florida going 5-7 this season with losses to Texas A&M, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, LSU, Ole Miss and Florida State
Schedule isn’t as bad as people make it out to be. Miami is incredibly inconsistent and under achieving. Texas A&M has a completely new staff and has to come to Florida to play. UCF has struggled mightily since joining the big 12. Our defense completely shut down Tennessee’s offense last year and can do it again as long as the stop the run again. Kentucky is bringing in a brand new QB with zero experience and lost their star RB. Georgia is a loss. Texas is a loss. LSU is having to replace multiple draft picks from their offense and returns a terrible defense. They have one or two good players on defense. After that they don’t even have average players on defense. Ole Miss loss. FSU lost a ton of talent to the draft last season. This will be the same team that played in the Orange bowl with the addition of DJ U.
That last part is beyond idiotic. Transfers- transfers and more transfers. At least two will be starting at both WR and RB as well as a defense that brings back tons of talent. You are talking about an entire offseason to get the new starters acclimated on both sides of the ball. We also won in the swamp with a QB that was a deer in the headlights for a half 😊. 6-6 or 7-5 is BEST case scenario and I know for certain you guys are not winning in Tallahassee. Might not even have a coach by then 🤷
I completely agree with you. The schedule is not that Bad. It ONLY sounds so Bad because of the Level at which Florida is currently playing at.....But, seriously, Gators travel to Mississippi St, Tennessee and then down the Road to play UGA and FSU. No Big Deal. Their only real travelling Game is to Texas. This schedule does not have many miles in the Air. C'mon Gators!!! Buckle Up! The days of a patsy Out of Conference Games and a SEC East Schedule are Gone.
They said the same thing when Miami played Georgia tech but what happened, that’s right Miami couldn’t take a knee and lost every game is losable to any team it’s the beauty of college football no win is guaranteed
Gators fan here hate to say it but heading into this tough schedule with back to back losing seasons, I think we’re in trouble. I’m expecting disappointment so I’ll never be disappointed
I think they go 7-5. They should beat Miami, Samford, A&M, Mississippi State, UCF, Tennessee, and Kentucky to start off the season. I don't see at this point how they beat Georgia, Texas, LSU, and Ole Miss, but the Florida State could go either way. Last year sucked with the games they almost won and lost in the end, but I think things get better and end up with that 7-5 record, or 8-4 at best.
You can not base future performance on past results. That would suggest the stock market never goes down. 12 n 0 the shock of the season in the year of the dragon. They will be undefeated at home, and its the enemy year of the dog. Dogs make up half the schedule. Graham and dj will be like leak and tebow but dj will have the long ball on point. The defense will be like the head hunters like spikes n black.
I think Florida will benefit a lot with being one of the few teams in the SEC with a returning QB. The schedule is grueling but the Swamp alone usually pulls out 1-2 wins a year. Florida HAS to be better on the road for the sake of the season and Billy's job. Florida should be atleast competitive in 10/12 games this year. May be blowouts against UGA and Texas. I think Florida ranges anywhere from 7 to 9 wins. Definitely losing to UGA and Texas. The other games I can see going either way.
Just saying your predictions are horribly wrong esp with Texas a&m and Tennessee we will beat both of them. Good chance having a 8-4 or 9-3 this year you’ll see

If they wanna make a bowl game they need to win Miami and UCF games. I have them going 4-8. I think they get the win vs UCF. Wins Samford Miss St UCF Kentucky
@@Roll-Tide-99FSU lost almost their whole team and brought in a QB who can’t throw.. Also A&M is rebuilding and doesn’t have a stacked team. Last LSU lost all their top players on offense and are in complete rebuild mode and LSU had one of the worse defenses we’ve seen in a long time.
I just cant see florida going 4-0 against miami, UCF, Kentucky, and LSU. UCF is better than people give them credit for. Thats a very losable game. And kentucky is also very losable for florida. And then to pick upsets against LSU and Miami on top of it. 4-0 there is just too much. Theyre gonna lose at least 1-2 of those games. I think they go under 5.5 for sure
4-8 (2-6) wins against Miami, Samford, Mississippi State, and Kentucky. The final 7 games are tough, so I think they will be better than their record would indicate.

They are definitely not going to Doak Campbell and winning, and I can see A&M winning in Gainesville, even though that's a tough game. 6 - 6 at best. Anything between 4 and 6 wins is probably a little generous. I can see 4 wins , but after that, that may be a stretch.
A&M can win 8 - 10 , and I don't think Florida wins in Knoxville without help from Tennessee. You do get A&M at home, but expect them to be between 8 and 10 wins.
