SILK, Is 100% on his concern of the same situation playing out at UF that recently happened in Tally. Lagway is a generational talent that could save Napier's job, that and a horribly low bar (6-6) by the UAA and UF admin. We then get saddled with years of horrible coaching, decisions and playcalling. Napier must go this season!
As i've told my sons, one of which graduated from UF, based on current rankings and win/loss records, the three losses are looking much better than they did at the time of the losses. Obviously, the Tennessee game should have been a win.

And if some reason Billy is kept, there must be a clause that he WILL! have a offensive coordinator next year and he will take over the control of special teams if he want to have his hands in something. If not, be the head coach continue recruiting and make organization decisions.
We are only ranked 14th in talent bc we just acquired 4 players no1 at their positions last cycle and only one of those are really playing. We saw cormani and LJ a few snaps but that's about it. Talent rankings are showing a ton of guys that aren't playing yet. He should get one more year we can't just recycle coaches every three seasons
Nick makes me sick. Blew recruiting out proportion and wrote countless articles about it under Mullen. Napier has 40th ranked class but somehow gets completely overlooked bc he’s a sweet boy to nick.

This is why preseason polls are stupid. A&M and Miami are good teams. UF has been making improvements a non losing season Napier gets another year. The culture is leaps and bounds better than Mullen was here.
Urban had Ron Zook talent, Will had Urban talent. Billy Didn't have anything to that level give him his last year. Hell we can use that 26 million those boasters want to pay to get some more players to go with what we already got.
If Curt Cignetti gets IU to playoffs, he's our clear cut #1 choice. He talks and coaches like Saban and he has the edge to go head-to-head with Kirby. To hell with his age. 63 is not that old
We got blown-the-hell out in 2 of those games, we weren't even competitive vs Miami unlike those juggernauts Cal, VT, and Louisville. 4 red zone trips against Tennessee. 3 points. 2025 class in the dumpster. Next...
@ancho-31337 yep we did get blown out. Play that game again today it's a different story. The red zone offense was fixed against Kentucky. There is still time to turn the recruiting around. We finish the year going 3-2 with class games against GA and TX maybe even get a win against one of them the recruits will come.
@@FTNFTNFTN Tennessee was only 10 days ago, and the offensive woes were coupled with awful game management issues that have been systemic under Napier. Those directly took 3 pts off of the board just like vs Arkansas last year, and could realistically have singlehandedly cost us both games. You can't say anything was "fixed" in 1 week (vs a team that just lost to Vandy) when we have 2.5 seasons worth of sample size to consider. Billy is a below average OC and will never give up that up. If we actually want to win a championship of any kind and not just chase a 9 win celling, we have to move on.
@ancho-31337 you mean the same Vandy team that beat Alabama? Alot of the red zone woes were due to not having a duel threat qb. Yes game management was an issue. But the fumble at the one was not a coaching issue. Don't fumble and you win the game.
Deion Sanders should have been the choice when we fired Lame Mullen. Deion would accumulate so much talent at UF that we would be a consistent playoff team. To me the coach you hire has to scare your rivals. Florida hasn't hired anyone like that since Urban
Why in the world would Deion coach his Alma Mater’s rival? Never gonna happen. Respectfully, Colorado can keep him. I know I damn sure don’t want him coaching our team. No proven track record of success outside of Jackson State which is High School ball compared to the SEC. He’d never last at any SEC school.
