I liked this song better when I thought it was a dad singing to his college-aged daughter or son, telling him or her they could always come home and a father’s love will never end. I sent it to my daughter who is 24 and living in California. I told her to change the words to “God, your daddy and me” and to always know she can always come to us because our love will “never run dry” anyway, it’s still a beautiful song 😭

The Backstreet Boys deserve a Grammy award. Too many great pop albums to name that never reached their ultimate potential in mainstream music. I hope that songs like this sort of bring them back to that forefront and perhaps landing another (long-awaited) hot single could spark another resurgence. They are way more than a 90's nostalgia group. I like to believe that their music is timeless and that it transcends well.Their new material could be special.

Just came back to this song after hearing a bit over the radio this morning. Gosh I remember when I first heard it I was a single parent with a 2 year old. I dedicated it to my daughter then. I've 💜 BSB for roughly 28 Years, ever since they Burst On The Music Scene and went straight to the Top! Having a daughter whose now 31, I heard their music A Lot as she grew up. I purchased every Album/CD they put out for her growing up and when they went on tour with NKOTB I tried Really Hard to get the tickets for us to go in 4 different locations (Drivable). But, as we All know now (Thanks to Taylor Swift & Beyonce) the Tickets for Any Good Concerts were being snapped up in big bundles making it hard for the rest of us! I 🩵 Florida Georgia Line as well so when the Song Debuted I knew it would be Great! I've Always been more of a Brian, Kevin or AJ Fan, but Lord when Nick started singing the very 1st time I saw it performed (I think at an Industry Awards Show) I Instantly Recognized his voice and Got Goosebumps. The boy was All Grown Up! I actually have gone back & watched more of their videos since that Performance! He always had the Showmanship and Swagger which I think is Part of the reason All the Girls Under 21 loved him. I just preferred the more Subdued Classic Good Looks And in AJ's Case, Brooding Bad Boy Vibe. Howie always came off to me as a guy who could be either or! My Daughter will be getting married next year (2025) and since I can't get them here live I'm making a CD for her of some of hers & her Fiance's Favorite Songs (They Dated All through Middle & High School and 2 Years after, broke up and Reconnected 5 years ago).
