Florida Inmates Break Into Car to Save Baby Locked Inside

Prison inmates were caught on camera trying to break into a car to save a 1-year-old child who was locked inside. Dallas was accidentally locked in the vehicle by her dad, who turned to deputies with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office in Florida for help. Deputies tried their best, to no avail, until one noticed work-release inmates nearby and suggested they ask them for assistance. They stuck a coat hanger through the top of the window, and a few minutes later, Dallas was freed. #InsideEdition

cars auto lock like this all the time. It's most of the time a manufacturer's error. Handles get jammed and auto lock all the doors leaving you not able to unlock them even if your car is on. She was in the car for 3 minutes before the police were called, she was fine.

I know this doesn't even come close to compare but this happened to me with my dog. Went to the gas station to pump gas and my dog locked the doors with my keys inside. I was frantically searching a way to get to her without damaging my car. Thankfully 2 very kind gentlemen helped me. Never making that mistake again

That would have been easy. However, now matter which window they broke, glass does fly everywhere. The child could have gotten glass shards all over her.

A stranger did this for me once. It was so obvious he did it a lot but I was grateful because it was after a movie at night and couldn’t have called a locksmith

Lol I find it funny how ppl r bashing the dad .. it was an accident .. it happens sometimes when u have kids even no kids .. u put ur keys down or what ever so u cn get what ever is in the back first but u forget to unlock the doors

@@Earthlyunknown was at the dentist yesterday and I guess someone with a similar mentality left a running car with a 7 year old in charge of 2 baby's. The mom was just going inside to the dentist for about 4 hours.

Probably not plus using that baton might have showered the kid in glass which is dangerous, normally they use a small punch to shatter a car window which is more controlled but prison guards would not have that device.
